The Room of Requirement

This room was secret and hardly anyone knew about it except for us. The Room of Requirement would be where we would train and perfect defensive spells.
Harry, Hermione, Ron, Fred, George, Neville, Luna, Cho, Zachariah, Cedric, and I all made up Dumbledore's Army. We weren't going to let anyone stop us.

Harry and Cedric were the most experienced with defensive spells, so they were going to be our instructors. We went over the disarming charm so that we would be prepared for the dangers ahead.

There was a practice dummy that had the Death Eater mask on it that would help us. Neville hesitantly went first to cast the spell; he wasn't all that confident in himself with magic. "Believe in yourself, you can do this." Harry assured him.
Neville nodded nervously, and then the practice dummy came rolling towards him. "Expelliarmus." Neville casted the spell weakly and the dummy didn't stop. "I told you I couldn't do this." he told Harry shamefully. "Yes you can Neville, just try again." Harry told him gently. The practice dummy made its way towards Neville a second time, and this time he was ready. "Expelliarmus!" The spell knocked the wand out of the dummy's hand and it stopped. We clapped for Neville to boost his confidence and to let him know he did a good job.

Harry and Cedric had us line up and perform the spell, and I was able to do it because defensive spells came easy to me. "Expelliarmus!" I casted the spell before the dummy came near me. The wand it carried flew across the room and smacked against the wall. The other D.A. Members looked impressed and Cedric was smitten by what I just did. I modestly shrugged and walked to the back of the line so someone else could take their turn.

Harry then taught us how to cast a Patronus. "Think of your happiest memory, and hold onto it." he advised. My happiest memory was one I held dear to my heart, so that part would be simple. With my eyes closed, I visualized Cedric and me dancing together at the Yule Ball; and then sharing our first kiss. I was filled with a sense of happiness. I was ready to cast the spell, "Expecto Patronum!" As I watched the white stallion galloping from my wand I was dazzled.

Soon, the room was filled with Patronuses and they were traveling all over the place. "Working hard is important, but there's something that matters more. Believing in yourself. Think of it this way: Every great wizard in history has started out as nothing more than we are now. Students. If they can do it, then why not us?" Harry informed us.
Harry was right, the most important thing we could do is believe in ourselves, because that's what would help us succeed.

I saw Cedric cast his Patronus which was a black stallion, and it was playfully chasing mine around the room. Then the two horses stopped and nuzzled each other; it was adorable to see.

Soon we were finished training, people started heading back to their common rooms.

I looked at the photos that were hanging on the mirror, and one of them stuck out among the others; it was me and Cedric on the cover of the Daily Prophet after the Second Task kissing. I smiled that he wanted to share his winning moment with me.
I felt Cedric put his arms around me and kiss me on the cheek. I smiled and turned to face him, "You're right, we make a great team." "One that can never be separated." he replied. "How did I get so lucky?" I flirted. "I ask myself the same question." Cedric told me holding my hands. We saw a mistletoe appearing above us, and we kissed.
