Things finally went back to normal and Professor Umbridge was sacked as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and she went back to work for the Ministry of Magic. Fudge was also sacked from his position as Minister of Magic. Umbridge getting sacked left us wondering who was going to fill the once again vacant position. Time came for the seventh years to graduate and Cedric was among those to graduate from Hogwarts. I was so proud of Cedric, but I was sad because he wasn't going to be with me next year. He told me that he was going to take on an internship at the Ministry of Magic with his father, and he would visit me at every chance he got. He was so sweet for doing that for me. I watched him go into the boat with the other seventh years that were graduating, and it rowed away. My eyes filled with happy tears, because I was proud of him and my love for him grew stronger. Luckily since we were neighbors, we were going to spend summer together, and I was looking forward to it.
It was this year that I was taught again that love is stronger than any magic in the world, and it actually does conquer death. This time we both faced death and survived. I was able to save both of us from getting killed even though I didn't join the Death Eaters. I couldn't live with myself if I had to do Voldemort's bidding. Light always over powers darkness.
