"is there something up with juyeon?" younghoon asked changmin once he found him sitting in an empty classroom.

the younger looked up at him in panic, relaxing only slightly when he saw that it was younghoon.

"there's nothing up with him." changmin truthfully answered, watching as younghoon took a seat in front of him.

"but you want there to be something." younghoon raised an eyebrow when changmin blushed a little.

"chanhee's worried about the wrong thing." younghoon amusedly said, biting the end of his thumb to contain the laughter threatening to erupt.

"i'm sorry?" changmin asked, feeling lost.

"he shouldn't be worried about juyeon falling for you, he should be worried about you falling for juyeon." younghoon clarified, propping his legs up on the desk.

"falling for your friend's boyfriend isn't cool." younghoon teased, smirking slightly when changmin's face showed guilt.

"i know it's not but it's not something i can hel-"

"oh wait, chanhee and you aren't friends." younghoon said, looking at him with a certain glint in his eye.

"well, it's complicated." changmin told him, frowning when younghoon scoffed.

"if you want juyeon, then take him. the friend code doesn't apply here, chanhee has made it clear that you guys aren't friends, and even if it did then stomp on it just like they did." younghoon shrugged, rolling his eyes when changmin shook his head immediately.

"there's no way i'm taking juyeon from chanhee. plus, juyeon is literally in love with chanhee, he'll never like me." changmin said, looking at younghoon as he got up from the desk.

"that's fine. my second advice is to stop hanging out with juyeon until your crush goes away or simply date someone else." younghoon told him, brushing off imaginary dust from his shirt.

"do you still like chanhee?" changmin blurted out, covering his mouth immediately after. younghoon looked at him and chuckled a little.

"i'll see you later." younghoon said before walking out.

"what's so special about him?" changmin whispered to himself, a frown on his face.

"why are you hiding from juyeon?" jacob asked chanhee when the younger sat with him in the library during lunch.

"what? i'm not." chanhee scoffed, taking out a random book from a shelf behind him. "i'm here to catch up on some reading."

"that's a book on economics." jacob said, scrunching his face up in distaste at the huge textbook. he jumped slightly when chanhee slammed the book down on the table.

"i just don't want to see him right now." chanhee finally admitted, folding his hands on top of the book and setting his chin down on his hands.

"what are you gonna do during practice today?" jacob asked, setting his own notebook aside.

"hopefully, he helps changmin out and misses practice again." jacob narrowed his eyes on chanhee, trying to study his face.

"you want him to miss practice just so that he can help changmin?" jacob asked after a beat of silence.

"no." chanhee immediately answered, drumming his fingers on the textbook.

"do you feel threatened?" jacob finally asked, flinching a little when chanhee scoffed and roughly pushed the book aside.
