"first off, do you want to do a slow song or an upbeat song?" juyeon asked, glancing up from his phone to finally start planning with changmin. he had been stalling, hoping to finally get a text from chanhee but after a few minutes he gave up.

"definitely upbeat, i'm not too good with slow songs." changmin instantly said, getting a smile from juyeon.

"me either, to be honest i don't really like dancing to slow songs." juyeon told him before browsing spotify.

"aren't you guys doing a slow song for the concert?" changmin asked, juyeon looked up from his phone and stared at him for a couple seconds.

"yeah." he answered after a beat of silence.

"why?" changmin asked, watching as juyeon closed his phone and placed it down on the desk.

"everyone else agreed to it, plus chanhee and hyunjae's voices are more suited for slow songs. i don't mind dancing to slow songs once in a while." juyeon shrugged, clasping his hands together.

"makes sense, i guess."

"so, what's your favorite artist? we could try to find a song from them." juyeon asked, opening his phone once again.

"probably the weeknd." juyeon looked up at him in surprise before a smile took over his face. changmin doesn't know why his heart skipped a beat.

"no way, he's my favorite too." juyeon laughed in disbelief, bringing up the weeknds account on spotify.

"i danced to in your eyes last year." juyeon commented, scrolling through this most recent album.

"oh, i love that song. it sounds perfect for me." changmin said and he couldn't help the smile that pulled at his lips when juyeon looked at him with a smile of his own.

"it's so good, right? i think the song will suit you." juyeon commented, playing the song on his phone.

they listened to it together, changmin already imagining some moves he could do.

changmin finally glanced at juyeon and found him already looking at him, watching his reactions to the song.

juyeon smiled at him slightly before looking down at his phone once again.
