'Lame party trick'

2.5 miles later the VKs made it to the museum, the teens walked down the stairs leading to the museum's side door. "E, check your mirror." Mal instructed.

Evie went into a bit of a panic, "Why, is my mascara smudged?"

Mal rolled her lavender eyes at the bluebell. "Yeah and while you're at it lets see if you can find us that wand?" Evie 'oh'ed in return and set out to lead the four others to the wand. Her heels clicking on the cement walkway as they ran around the side of the building.

The group of villain kids made it to the front door of Auradon's museum. Glancing through the window like doors, they all saw Maleficent's most famous relic, the spindle was sitting in the middle of the entryway. Just behind the spindle was a security guard watching the cameras from his chair.

"Wow, I didn't think it was that much of a big lame party trick..." (y/n) snorted looking through the door's windows. At the noise, the guard suddenly spun around in his chair looking outside. The five teens dove out of the way spitting up on either side of the view of the door.

When all five kids popped back up to the door, the guard had turned back around, Jay and Carlos started to chuckle. "No way, (y/n), I don't think we're looking at the same wheel." Jay laughed quietly not wanting to get caught.

"Yeah, it's kinda dorky." Carlos tagged on laughing with Jay at Mal's irritated face.

"It's magic. It doesn't have to look scary." Mal rolled her eyes and went to distract the guard. She flipped to a predetermined spell in her mother's spell book. "Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim prick a finger."

"Is something supposed to happen? Cause, I don't see anything?" (y/n) mocked Mal giving Evie a high five, which Evie didn't consent to.

"Impressive..." Jay said teasingly at Mal.

"I've got chills." Carlos jokes.

The two boys laughed while Mal flusteredly flipped for another spell.

"Oh, Evie. This is my favorite day!" (y/n) giggles and hangs her body over Evie's. Evie patted (y/n)'s (h/c) hair,

"Don't squint (y/n), you'll get crows feet,"

"Ughh Evieeeee!" (y/n) whined back insecure about her looks now.

"Okay, you know what." Mal puts her hand up to get them to stop talking. "Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep." At the sametime (y/n) and the security guard started to walk towards the spindle.

Jay and Carlos grabbed (y/n)'s arms and held her back but (y/n) wouldn't hold still. Carlos was having a hard time seeing at (y/n) was stronger than him. But once the guard touched the spindle and went to sleep on his chair, (y/n) fell limp before shooting her head up. "Mal, you're such a fuc-!"

"Okay, I think that's enough talking for now," Jay held his hands over (y/n)'s mouth trying to keep her from yelling and giving away their position.

Mal pulled on the handle of the door trying to get into the museum building. It was locked. Jay smirked and pushed (y/n) into Evie. "Stand back, I got this." Jay walked back to give himself a running start to kick open the door.
