Chapter Eleven

'Aftermath'

Only when (y/n) heard Audrey calling her name did she bother to look up at her. "Earth to (y/n)? Where'd you go?" Audrey laughed a bit.

"Just thinking about where I'm going to sleep tonight," (y/n) sighed, she rolled her fingers over her temples trying to relive her tension headache.

"Done! I talked to Fairy Godmother about it during the beginning of the break. She thinks it's a wonderful idea! So your bed is now in my room and I can help you pick up your stuff at the end of the day."

"Oh, wow! Audrey you're such a good friend, I can't help but admire you. By the way have you seen Chad?" (y/n) asked as she started to eat her food.

"I think he's coming over now, Ben! Chad! Hurry up," Audrey yelled over to the two blond boys who were taking their sweet time walking over to them.

Once they finally reached the table Ben held out a cookie in a plastic baggie. It was a small tea cookie but (y/n) still felt drawn to it. Her mother's voice popped up in her head, 'now, now my child. You don't want to eat anything that might disrupt your weight.' (y/n) took the cookie. "What's this for Ben?"

"I was told Evie said to give this to you." (y/n) looked at Ben who just shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh cool, I already ate so Chad do you want it?" 
(y/n) didn't even have to ask a second time before Chad smoothly sat down next to her and started munching on the cookie. The look on his face made (y/n) laugh. He was no butterfly-inducing love of her life but he was still a part of the mission so she would stomach him. "I take it you like it?" (y/n) laughed looking at Chad, giving him bottom eyes. When they looked at each other's eyes (y/n) swore she felt a blast of magic ripple through her.

"Your laugh is insanely beautiful, (y/n)." Chad tilted his head and gave off a dazzling smile.

"Thank you, that's very kind of you." (y/n) said back blushing. Audrey and Ben cheered to each other. Ben's plan to integrate villain kids with regular kids was working. Audrey felt like she was in control again and that's all she could ever want.

"Since it is a Friday we have a tourney game after school. Are you going?" Chad asked as he grabbed (y/n)s hand. She laughed at the way he looked at her. Her (h/c) (hair/type) hair twirled around her finger.

"Only because Audrey already told me I was going to be cheering with the squad to try it out. We were planning to teach them right after school before the game. I'm a quick study so I'm hoping to get it down!" (y/n) smiled at Audrey holding her hand up for a fist bump.

"Well, (y/n), maybe you could wear my number, ya know be my own personal cheerleader." Chad smiled and (y/n) swore she saw his eyes glimmer.

"I don't know what that means?" (y/n) said confused. There weren't many, if any, sports on the isle. She only knew about cheerleading from her mother who would watch the Auradon news and sometimes see them.

"It's basically saying i'm your favorite and that you're going to be cheering for me, ya know?"

(y/n) looked around her only support coming from Audrey who was cheering for me to say yes. Ben was sitting back with a dazed look on his face munching on a carrot.
