hotel truth or dare

Hinata POV:

Coach Ukai pulled the bus over to the side of the road to process what we all just heard.

We all sat there, speechless, not finding the right words to say. But we were all thinking the same thing: did we have Coronavirus? More specifically, did I give everyone Coronavirus? Finally, Sugawara broke the silence.

"We should stay at a motel for 14 days like the newscaster said. I know I don't want to give the virus to my family and I don't think any of you do either. There is still the possibility we don't even have the virus but I'd say it's better to be safe than sorry."

I gulped and nodded my head in agreement. I still didn't have my goddamn crow stuffy.

Kageyama POV:

After deciding to stay at a motel for a while, we hit the road again. I noticed Hinata seemed unusually down compared to his constant hyperactive state.

"Are you tired?" I asked, wondering why he looked so depressed.

"No, I just still don't have my crow stuffed animal," he said matter of factly.

I turned my head towards the window, already embarrassed for words that hadn't even left my mouth yet.

"Well if you want, you could continue sleeping with me," akdjdksk so awkward...

"Really?!" Hinata was so excited he practically yelled his question.

"Y-yeah, if you want," Okay Kageyama, calm down, it's just because he has sleeping issues, it's not anything more than that. If anything, I would be a bad friend for not suggesting that.

Time Skip:

It felt like hours had passed before we arrived at the motel. Maybe it seemed like a long time because every second Hinata sat there next to me, I thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest. Yeah.. that was probably it.

Before coming to the motel, we stopped at a gas station to get masks. Asahi put a banana over his face when he went to buy them. Unfortunately, the cashier thought they were being robbed and freaked out. It took exactly 7 minutes and 39 seconds before the man calmed down enough for Asahi to buy masks. (Tsukishima set a timer)

We exited the school bus wearing masks and entered the two-star motel. The lobby was what you'd expect from any two-star establishment, there wasn't much furniture and any furniture that was there looked old and worn. The team sat down on the furniture as Coach Ukai and Mr. Takeda checked out 5 rooms. It was the most our budget would allow so we had to split up into groups of 4.

The pairings were:

Hinata x Kageyama x Tanaka x Ennoshita

Asahi x Nishinoya x Daichi x Sugawara

Tsukishima x Yamaguchi x Narita x Kinoshita

Kiyoko x Yachi

Ukai x Takeda

Hinata POV:

I'm glad I got paired up with Kageyama again because I can pretend he's my crow stuffed animal! However, I was hoping we would be alone in the room, I can't imagine what Tanaka and Ennoshita will think when they see us cuddling.

Time Skip (about 15 minutes):

"What should we do now that all of our belongings are put away?" Kageyama asked, clearly bored.

"We should invite the team to our room so we can all hang out!!" Tanaka said excitedly.

"Sounds good to me," Ennoshita replied.

"So it's settled then, I'll text them," I said.

Hinata: Hey everybody!! We should all hang out in our room!

Nishinoya: ON MY WAY

Sugawara: Sounds fun, great idea Hinata

There was a knock at the door, everybody was here. Our room wasn't very large so several people had to sit on the floor.

"Now that we're all here, what should we do?" Asahi questioned.

Nishinoya and Tanaka glanced at each other, then responded in sync.

"TRUTH OR DARE!!" they both yelled.

No one seemed to complain, so we started the game.(imma rhyme master)

"I'll go first!" I yelled.

"Asahi, Truth or Dare?" I asked.

"Easy, Truth" he responded.

"Tell the truth, are you secretly dating anyone?"

"Yeah, you're always busy nowadays!" Daichi chimed in.

Asahi still hadn't responded.

"... yes..." he finally answered and looked down to hide his flushed face. I noticed he was also twiddling his thumbs in his lap.

"WHAT? ASAHI, WHO?!" Sugawara practically screamed the question. I'd never seen him so excited before.

Nishinoya responded before Asahi could get a word out. "He doesn't have to say, that wasn't a part of the question." It looked as though Suga's excitement deflated out of him as he exhaled. He isn't usually easily excitable but he can be very lively when he wants to be.

"You know what, I think I'll go next," Nishinoya said this with a very mischievous tone that deeply worried me.

"HINATA," he yelled out my name and stood up for dramatic effect.

"TRUTH OR DARE?!?"

"I choose... dare" At that, Noya started grinning. Like I had just made a very awful mistake.

"I dare you to... kiss your crush!!" he squealed and sat back down.

"W-what? First off, how do you even know I have a c-crush. And second, what makes you think they would be in this room?" I was quick to defend myself, I just hoped it didn't come off too defensive.

"First off," he started, mimicking my sentence.

"You keep daydreaming during practice, it's obvious you like someone. And second, no offense.. but you don't really hang out with anyone but us. You could have a crush on Kenma, but I'm pretty sure I know who you actually like."

I looked down at my hands in defeat. Is it really that obvious I like Kageyama? Is the first time I get to kiss him truly going to be over some dare?

"Sugawara aren't you going to stop me?" I asked, hopeful he would step in.

"I've actually been waiting for this for a while. Plus, I'd rather you both kiss in front of me so I can pull you apart if it gets to be too much anyways." he responded shrugging.

Shit, they're really making me do this.

"B-Bakayama, come here,"
