I would give you the world if I could but that wouldn't be enough.
You deserve so much more.
Instead I'll promise to be here for you, I'll promise to never give up,
And if you want I will promise to love you.
I will hold your hands when the water gets rough, I'll dry your tears when they fall, I will hold you as you sleep so you never have to feel alone again.
I'll listen when you need a friend and kiss you when you don't,
Walk with you in the darkness and guide you through the light.
I would hand you the world but darling you deserve more.
So let me give you the stars in my eyes, the butterflies in my chest and the spring in my step.
I'll give you the small parts of the universe I carry until you find yours again.
