I want to write poetry about you,
Some beautiful words about how you make me feel
But I'm not sure what I would write.
Would I write about how I get butterflies in my stomach at the thought of kissing you,
Or maybe about the smile I can't stop when I see your name light my phone?
I could even write how you make me feel like the most wonderful person in the world...
Instead I sit and think of all those things but cannot tell them.
You are indefinitely the best part of my day
Making me feel beautiful and appreciated,
I just wish I knew what to say.
So maybe I won't write poetry and I'll bask in the emotion only brought out by you
Or maybe I will and everyone will know.
Everyone will know how easy it will be for me to fall in love with you,
To spend my time with you,
Because Darling, you're everything I've always written about.
