without missing a beat, james replied with, "the sky." it was followed by the ringing of a scanned product.

at least that guy could take a joke. (y/n) continued to joke around with james, before taking their items and sprinting out of the store. the conversation was getting increasingly awkward. (y/n) was about to combust from the sheer awkwardness alone.
