Loneliness adds beauty to life. It puts a special burn on sunsets and make the night air smell better.

CRETE, GREECE
1000 A.D
Alexandria didn't know where she was or what had happened. Looking around all she could see were particles of dust filling the air. She was dressed in her nightgown, which seemed to be her luck, because none of her other gowns would be big enough to fit her suddenly perfectly cured body. Alexandria held a hand up into the sun an observed it as sparkles covered it, seemingly able to light up the entire world.
She let to a giggle at the sight, but it didn't sound like her. Her voice had been as bruised as her body had been ever since Demetri died, and even more so since she met Iasonas. The memory of the prints from his rough hands which had littered her body send a shiver down her spine. She didn't know where he had gone. She hadn't seen a gloms of him since she woke up, not knowing where she was, what day it was, or who she was.
A name had dawned on her - Demetri - It was the first thing she remembered before the rest came back to her, the death of her mother, the death of her father. Her own name. It made her want to scream and cry but for some reason the tears gathered in her eyes simply refused to fall.
Alexandria was confused, even if she remembered her past - even the parts of it she wished she didn't - she still didn't understand what had happened to her.
"Ahh you're awake" a voice rang out from behind her. Alexandria turned to se Iasonas standing there with a devilish smirk that sent disgust running through her body. "what did you do to me?" she sneered, "I improved you some would say" he replied his smirk widening with each word he spoke. "you're immortal now my darling, I can have you forever isn't that wonderful?" he continued. Alexandrias face changed into one of horror the thought of an eternity with him made her want to die right this second.
"What am I" she spoke loudly, "you're a vampire."
Vampire. The word rung in her ears, she couldn't be. She had heard tales of these ungodly creatures of the night but she had always thought that they were just that - tales. She had dedicated her life to be a faithful servant of her god yet here she was, a creature of the devil. With a lust for human blood - and she couldn't stand it.
Alexandria was furious, and in her fury she did things she doesn't recall. The first thing after the revelation that she actually remember besides the feeling of anger was standing in the middle of a village covered in blood, the whole place in the process of being burned down.
From that moment Alexandria gave up hope. Hope for a future, hope of being a good person. Hope of everything. And that is how she became a so called 'monster'.
