❝Sometimes you don't know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory❞
VOLTERRA, ITALY
2009
Alice drew the car to an immediate and violent stop as Alice spotted the police officers right infant of them. Alex had met up with her and the famous Isabella Swan in the airport by the name of Firenze Amerigo Vespucci about 45 minutes prior to the current moment, she had been surprised to see the human girl alive, but grateful nonetheless. She knew how determined her best friend could be, so the Swan girl being alive is probably what would make it possible to save his life.
Bella flew out the door, and ran in the direction that Alice pointed her, towards the clocktower. Also known as the main entrance to the Volturi castle. While Bella did all that she could to save the love of her life, which Alex sincerely hoped that she did, knowing what it was like to not be able to do so, her and Alice abandoned the stolen vehicle, and moved through the shadows to get to the the tower.
They couldn't risk exposure that would only lose them their own heads not help them save Edwards.
As they entered the clocktower Alexandrias eyes fell upon someone whom made her unseating heart beat 10.000 times faster. It couldn't be him could it? her Demetri.
In that moment a thousand years of grief and despair faded away into nothing. As their eyes locked butterflies erupted in the pit of Alexandrias stomach. She couldn't believe it he was alive. How could he be? And if he was a Volturi why hadn't Aro used him to get to her? none of it made sense, but Alex didn't care - she could ask questions later - for now she just needed to be in his arms.
She ran to him and threw her arms around him holding him tightly, Demetri wasted no second in squeezing her just as tightly as she was him. He didn't understand how she was here, he knew how much she had once dreamed of a simple, faithful life with children and a husband to grow old with. He couldn't imagine how painful it had to be for her to be doomed to an eternity like this. But he didn't care, he had her back. His beautiful, lovely wife Alexandria was back in his arms.
