The Coma

~Marceline's POV~

After what seemed like ages Doctor Princess and a few of her nurses arrived. They assessed the situation and immediately went to work trying to resuscitate Finn. Once they found they couldn't, they got him on a stretcher and stabilized him. There were IV's and oxygen masks. Everything went so fast. Suddenly, I was being escorted into the back of an ambulance and driven super speed to Doctor Princess' kingdom. Once there, they moved him by stretcher to a back room and started more tests and techniques to try wake him up, more wires and IV's followed. I watched my boyfriend get strung up like a puppet. So many machines and wires and tubes. Finally, I couldn't watch it anymore. I went into a common room area where some of the Medical Kingdom's subjects were sitting around talking and going about their daily lives. After an hour or so Doctor Princess came and sat down next to me with a saddened look.

"Well, we've done everything in our power, but we can't wake him." My heart shattered.

"What do you mean?..." I asked slowly.

"Marceline... He's gone into a coma." That's when I lost it. I started balling.

Now a week later I'm in the same place, doing the same thing. I was called here and told he was awake and well... Then, when I got here and come face to face with him, he has no idea who I am...

"What am I supposed to do?" I asked Doctor Princess through sobs. She looked at me sadly.

"Sweetheart, I promise you we will get him back. These things happen all the time. Just hang in there and be there for him while he recovers."

"Okay..." I said sniffling. I got up to face my boyfriend with one of the worst case scenarios when coming out of a coma. Complete memory loss.
