~Princess Bubblegum's POV~

"They will pay... They will all pay! I will get my hero! I will do whatever it takes to get my hero." I pace my lab back and forth, wondering how I could woo him back. Well, maybe I don't have to... I thought. I could take Marceline hostage! Then the only way I would release her is if he agreed to be mine. Or I could kill her!.. Yes... That's an amazing idea. Kill the Vampire Queen and take her king as my own. I could make it look like a freak accident! She would have no idea it was coming, then he would morn, and I would be there to comfort him. Then he would surely fall for me... Yes... What a pleasant idea. A wicked grin came across my face. I started planning the death of the Vampire. I wanted to take a long time killing her, but making it look like an accident. This would be difficult... But I shall take pleasure stopping her heart once and for all...

~Finn's POV~

I woke up to the phone ringing at my side. I rolled over and grabbed it.

"Hello?" I asked with a very groggy voice.

"Hey dude." Jake said. "Look, I'll just cut to the deal. I'm selling the tree house."

"What?!?" I asked really surprised at the sudden decision.

"Look Finn... I'm never home, you're never home. I've decided to just move in with Lady and the Pups, and unless you board up all the windows you really can't live in the tree house anyway." He told me. I looked at the time it was 6 in the evening.

"Okay... I mean I guess that is the best option... I'll be over in an hour or so to pick up everything that I want." I heard Marceline start to move beside me looking for my body to cuddle. "I got to go. See you later dude."

"Bye Kid" Jake said and hung up. I rolled back over to Marceline and her eyes batted a few times.

"Who was that?..." She said groggily.

"It was Jake. I have to go to the tree house in a little bit to get my stuff." I told her. She furrowed her brow.

"Why do you have to get your stuff?" She asked.

"Because, Jake is moving in with Lady and selling the tree house."

"Oh okay... What about you?.."

"Umm well I figured I'd stay here... If that's okay..." She looked at me blankly for a minute.

"I mean I guess... But we aren't really even together yet..." It never crossed my mind that Marceline and I weren't officially a couple, and she might not even want me living with her.

"Oh... Ummm..." I didn't know how to respond... Part of me wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend right there, but at the same time I wanted to do something special for her. "Well can I stay here til I find somewhere else?" I asked her. She looked at me wide eyed...

"Finn you can stay here I don't mind... I just, I don't know. It feels weird not to be with you, although you're living with me... But I don't want you to go somewhere else."

"Okay..." I said blushing slightly. I sat up in bed. "I better get ready to go." I said as she started pouting.

"But cuddles!" She said. I laughed and she smiled. I leaned over and kissed her forehead softly.

"You gonna come with me?" I asked her. She looked at me then sat up and stretched.

"Yeah I guess." She said softly, starting to get dressed in a different outfit. "I have to shower though." She said walking past me and into the bathroom. I caught her arm and she turned around to look at me. I lifted my hand to her cheek and pulled her close, intertwining our fingers. Then, I kissed her softly on the lips as she let her body relax. I pulled away and she smiled at me. This is the moment, I thought.

"Marceline..." I said as she was about to turn back around.

"Yes?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?..."
