I looked at Finn as a human this last time. Then quietly I stood up and walked to the other side of the bed. Finn's crystal blue eyes followed me. I leaned down next to the bed and kissed his cheek.

"This might hurt Hero..." I whispered in his ear.

"I'm ready." he told me, yet he had no idea that nothing could prepare him for how painful this really would be.

"I'm sorry I have to do this..." I whispered to him again as a tear rolled down my cheek. Slowly put my mouth on his neck and extended my fangs. They hovered right above his skin. Suddenly I bit him. I injected just enough venom as had been taught to me years before. He screamed in pain and started having seizure-like spasms as the venom coursed through his veins. His skin started to turn from his normal peachy-pink to a light bluish-gray. I picked him up bridal style.

"W-where are w-we going?" he managed to choke through the pain.

"Sun rise is in 15 minutes. If I don't get you and me somewhere dark fast we will both die." I pushed open the window with Finn still spasming in my arms. Tears flowed down my cheeks now seeing him in more pain than before, but I knew it wouldn't last long. I flew extra fast to my house and made it just as the sun was rising. Finn's body finally had taken over and put him to sleep. I laid him on my bed and went into the living room. I was really tired too but I wasn't getting in bed with Finn. I wouldn't mind... but it would be awkward if he woke up I told myself. I floated down to the living room, then floated above the couch and fell asleep.

~Finn's POV~

When she bit me I immediately felt the venom coursing through me. The pain was excruciating. I started to have seizure-like spams and my whole body got hotter than it already was. Then I felt Marceline pick me up.

"W-where are w-we going?" I stuttered through pain.

"Sun rise is in 15 minutes. If I don't get you and me somewhere dark fast we will both die." she replied looking very worried and sad, but I don't remember much after that. I passed out in her arms on the way to wherever she was taking me.

I woke up and looked around at where I was. Everything was blurry. I scratched my head and sat up. Suddenly, my stomach made a low growl and I realized I was hungry. So I swung my feet of the bed to go get something, but my feet weren't touching the ground.

"What the hey hey?!?" I yelled. I made my eyes focus in the dark light and realized I was floating. "Help!" I yelled out not exactly sure what else to do. Then a very groggy Marceline stuck her head through a hole in the ground. It was then I recognized this was Marcie's room.

"Hey Finn what's wrong?" she asked me nonchalantly.

"Uhhhh... I'm sorta... FLOATING..." I yelled at her. She laughed and rolled her eyes, then flew the rest of the way into the room.

"If you don't want to float say 'gravitus igniticus' silly." she said as she landed on the ground. I repeated her words and landed on her bed. Then out of no where I stood up and ran over to her, hugging her tightly. She blushed a bright red. "What was that for?!" she asked/scolded.

"Because you saved my life!" I reminded her.

"Well... I didn't really... I guess I did." she replied softly. "Not that you're really living now." I laughed even though she meant it as a serious comment.

"It's better than being truly dead!!!" I said happily. She laughed and smiled.

"True." she said. Then my stomach growled again more loudly and obnoxious this time, but she just laughed. "And how about we get some breakfast for that growling tummy of yours." she said turning her floating back on and flying downstairs. I could get use to this new bond between us, that's for sure.
