Troubling Times

~Marceline's POV~

I was about to start flying to the house when Finn asked me to walk.

"At least til we get to the gate." He stated, I smiled and nodded my head.  He grabbed my hand and smiled at me. We walked hand in hand quietly. I realized now that he was older he didn't talk as much. I glanced at him to see he was looking at me.

"What?"

"Nothing... You're just so gorgeous." He replied. I blushed and looked at the ground. Suddenly he stopped walking and spun me around to face him. I was mesmorized by his eyes in the pale moonlight. Then, he took my face in his hand softly and kissed me slowly, then more passionately. He pulled away and smiled. After a second of standing there he pulled me in for a hug.

"We better get home." He said, "dawn's in two hours." I nodded in agreement, and we started the flight home.

~Princess Bubblegum's POV~

They made a mistake coming into my kingdom again... My guards alerted me as soon as they saw them. They made a big mistake... Knowing where they are gives me an amazing advantage... And an amazing idea!

"Yo, Lady!" I called to my Rainicorn. "Take me to the outskirts of Ooo, the cave of The Vampire."

~Finn's POV~

I couldn't help but feel someone was following us on our way out of the Candy Kingdom. It actually freaked me out a bit, but we were home and the feeling was gone... Maybe its some sort of vampire sense kicking in. Well anyway, now I'm home with my lovely queen. I couldn't ask for anything more. By the time we got home her eyes were drooping and she was swaying a bit. I picked her up and carried her to bed. I laid her down and she immediately fell into a deep sleep. I tucked her in and kissed her forehead. The last few days have been emotionally exhausting that's for sure.

"I love you." I whispered to her softly. Then, I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on, letting the water warm up. I looked at myself in the mirror.

"You are going to look at that face for the rest of your life Finn... Are you sure you want that?" I turned around and the door slammed behind me. Behind the door was standing my worst nightmare at the moment. Princess Bubblegum.
