"Go home and get some rest, okay? See you guys on Monday!" Yena yelled. The team nodded before heading back home.

Chaeryeong sighed and waved to Yena before walking home. Honestly, she was lying. The University student had exams coming up and didn't have time to spend with her new friend. And she didn't want Ryujin to move either but she thought that it was the only way for the older to take her seriously.

She opened the door and placed her shoes neatly at the corner before putting her bag down.

"You're home,"

Her neck nearly snapped as she turned to see Ryujin cooking in the kitchen.

"Didn't I..."

"I'm not leaving until you forgive me," Ryujin said stubbornly, bringing the plate out of the kitchen and placing it on the table.

"Fine. You're forgiven. Leave," Chaeryeong hissed, pushing Ryujin to the door.

"I want to leave knowing that you really forgiven me," Ryujin said firmly, her back pressing against the door. Chaeryeong groaned and stormed into the bathroom to wash up.

As Chaeryeong left to shower, Ryujin broke down. She crouched down and buried her face in her hands. She stayed in that position sobbing quietly until she heard the door creak. Quickly, she rushed to the dining table and sat down.

Chaeryeong changed and sat down in front of her.

"We're not going to bother each other or anything," the younger girl said before heading off to her own room.

Ryujin stared helplessly after Chaeryeong and slumped into the chair.

Ryujin knocked on the door and waited outside.

However, she waited for almost 10 minutes but the door didn't open.

"Ryeong?" Ryujin called out tentatively.

"Get lost," Chaeryeong said.

"Please?"

"I'm holding a penknife," came the firm reply from the other side of the door.

Ryujin headed into the bedroom and sat on the bed, fiddling with her fingers.

Finally, night fell. Ryujin had cooked some food and placed it in the oven to make sure it was warm.

"Chaeryeong ah, there's food in the oven. Eat, okay?" Ryujin said gently and left.

It was at 10:30 pm when Chaeryeong finally came out of her room and went to the table. Ryujin peeked out from the bedroom and smiled when she saw the younger tuck into the food she prepared without hesitation.
