Three years later,

"Good morning, Mr. Jeon. Here's your coffee and your schedule for today." his secretary place a cup of his favourite black coffee on his working table and hand him a tablet that showing his schedule for the day.

"Thank you, Miss Park." He smiled at her and scanning his schedule. "Have you put the announcement out?" He put the tablet down on the table and slowly sipping his coffee.

"I'll publish them today. Don't worry about it. I'll make sure to find someone that so much better than me, so it wouldn't bother your work." She assures her flashing him a friendly smile. They've been a 'partner in crime' for about three years and although the urge to hold her from resigning from her job was big, he couldn't do that. He just can't, unless her future husband will just kill him right on the spot.

He sighed and return the smile, "Guess it's all on Jimin, to take you away from me." He makes a little joke and she laughed. "I shouldn't have invited him to my office that day. That way, you two won't get to know each other."

"Nah, soulmates find each other, Mr. Jeon. Even if we didn't meet that day, our path will somehow come across again." She answers confidently and her playful smiles faded away a little as she notices the frown that rise on his face. "You haven't found any news about her, don't you?" carefully, she brings up the topic but her superior just shake his head slowly and fake a smile.

"Nothing. I just hope she's somewhere safe and sound. After the news about his ex-husband marry another girl, she just- poofed! I never stop worrying about her. Sometime I wonder if she remembers about me." He let out a bitter chuckle earning a concerned gaze from his secretary.

"Jungkook... Listen, okay? First, I'm not saying this as your secretary but a friend that has been by your side for three years and I think it's enough. You've been waiting for her for three years. You still can't find her and even if you do, what are you gonna do? She didn't choose you three years ago, what makes you think she will choose you now? If she really loves you, she would've chosen you from the very first time." She felt bad to sound mean but he's not just a boss to her. Despite being a great boss, he's also a best friend of her fiancee, Park Jimin, which makes him treat her like a friend too.

He looks up to her, a little bit surprised with her sudden nags. "I-I'm sorry, Mr. Jeon. I-" his intense gaze scared her a little but before she managed to continue, he just let out a little chuckle.

"Hey, Byeol. Calm down, it's okay. I'm not mad, I just-" He paused a little as she notices a bigger smile rose up to his cheek. "I love her so much, Byeol. I don't even know why my feelings are still there. It's not even lessened although I haven't meet her for these three years. It feels like yesterday, that I saw her smile for the last time. It feels like yesterday that I hear her voice. I can't- you know I tried to move on, with my best friend, with some new girl, I can't, Byeol. I don't want to. I love her and I still do. I've decided to find her no matter what and confess to her again. I ain't giving up, Byeol. Never. She's stuck with me."

Byeol shakes her head in disbelief. She never understood how could someone makes Jungkook a second choice. Someone's so genuine like Jeon Jungkook. "Okay, lover boy. Now, I will go back to my table and post the announcement. If you need anything, you know where's to find me." She gave up persuading him to move on, Jungkook is a man of his word. It's hard to change his mind. Not even a secretary and good friend of three years can do.

After she left his room, Jungkook grab his phone and unlock them only to stare at a familiar picture. A different shot of a same person that has been his wallpaper for more than three years.

"Where were you, Noona? I miss you." He whispers, caressing your picture, one of the pictures that he secretly took.
