"What is it, honey?" He asked and you were about to let out the deal from your lips but suddenly her voice echoing inside your head.

'You know what I'm capable to do, Chaeyoon. I could hurt your loved ones, including him and my own son. I assumed you know what kind of person I am. I never failed to get what I want, so you know better to cooperate with me, right?' yeah, it was his own mother's voice echoing inside your head. Taehyung's mother.

"N-nothing serious. Just, I-I met Bora few days ago in Jungkook's office." you fake a smile and create another lie.

"Oh right, she came back here earlier than me because I got things to do. You know mother assigned us a lot of works in Canicatti." He shrugs and snuggle closer to you. His warm breath on your skin send shivers and remind you of Jungkook.

You pushed Taehyung away softly and fake a smile. "Let's talk on the couch, do you want something to drink?"

He was aware at your sudden movements, he knows that you feel uncomfortable with him. So he flash you a soft smile before shaking his head in disagreement. "I'd love to but I can't stay for long, honey. I changed my flight schedule without anyone knows. I arrived earlier than my original flight schedule, so I got to see you first. I just come here right from the airport because I missed you. It's been so hard without you through these years but now that I see you, I can assure myself that you're in good hand now. I could finally let you go without worrying about your safety anymore."

"T-Taehyung, are you happy?" It's another stupid question slipped out from your lips.

"Silly, how can I be happy without you?" He was smiling but all you could see was the pain in his eyes.

"Tae, there's no future for us. You should move on from me. We aren't meant to be together and I want you to be happy too. Bora loves you Tae, try to give her a chance."

"There's no one like you, honey. But don't worry, the fact that I once had you in my arms is enough to makes me happy. Those temporary moments we spent together is enough."

"Tae, stop it. I said st-" you can no longer ask him to stop because he just cut you off, with his lips on your lips.

This is wrong, your heart was screaming inside to push him away and you did it.

"Stop. I-I can't do this to him."

"Just for this time. Please, this will be the last time I kiss you because it's good bye kiss for us." and that's how both of you share the last good-bye kiss by kissing each other passionately. It was the kiss that filled with tears and emotion, longing, sadness and sorrow. It was the kiss for the two that never meant to be together.

Next Morning,

"Baby? Hey, noona.." Jungkook's voice drag you back from your daydream as you quickly turn to him only to notice the frown in his face. Both of you were having breakfast date just like how he planned it but he notices how you keep spacing out.

"W-What is it? Did you say something?"

"Noona, I've been talking to you for past minutes but you keep spacing out. Did something bother your mind? You know you can tell me anything." He grabs your hands that laid on the table and squeeze it softly. "Did something happen last night, hm?"

"No. It's nothing. It's just- maybe I woke up too early this morning. I'm getting too excited to see you, so I keep spacing out. There's nothing serious." you lied to him, again. You hate yourself for doing this but there's no way you can tell him what happened last night. You don't want to hurt him and he doesn't need to know, right?
