"Park Bora, why are you here?" Jungkook's voice break the silence as he squeezes your palm softly, lowkey reminding you that he's there by your side. You didn't realize but Jungkook notices how you suddenly tensed up and the way your hands grow cold. He notices and he knows why.

"Oh, did you just drop the formalities between us? As far as I remember, you and my brother are just business partner and I'm here for my brother's business, so don't flatter yourself, Mr. Jeon." She side-eyed you from top to bottom for few seconds before her attention shifts back to Jungkook, flashing a smirk.

"My apologize, Miss Park- oh! My bad, Mrs. Kim." He corrected himself and smirk back at her before he turns back to you. "Baby, you can wait outside until I finish, it won't take long. I promise. Just go look around, okay?" His tone become soft again, like how he usually talks to you.

"Alright." you flash him a small smile and took a last glance at Bora who glued her gaze on your back until you completely disappear from her sight.

"Oh, Miss Chaeyoon? You're leaving already? I made a tea for you too." His secretary was about to knock on the room when you came out.

"I don't want to bother him, but thanks for the tea. I will just look around while waiting for him." you took one cup of the tea while flashing her a smile which she returns as well. Then you walk away while she continues her job, serving the tea for her boss and his client.

You know that woman way too well. The woman who would always hang out on the weekend in your so-called house, the woman who would always get invited in every family dinner and party, the woman whose name always came out in every argue you had with your ex-husband, the woman who got what she wants from the very beginning, including the Kim Taehyung.

It's so obvious and crystal clear for you to notice how she stares at your ex-husband every time she has a chance. You did confront Taehyung about it, but he never took you seriously. He said, she's just a very dear friend, a close friend to him and his family, which is why they always invited her in every occasion. You're not even trying to be possessive at that time, you're so cool about their friendship and never say a thing for her hang out every weekend in the house. Using the title of 'best friend' to get all touchy and trying her best to gain his attention.

You trust Taehyung too much that you didn't see it coming. She was standing right behind you the whole time and ready to fill in your position as soon as you fall down and she did it. She's Park Bora, or should you just say Kim Bora.

Saying that you were surprised was an understatement. You were beyond surprise, nervous and scared to meet her here. Now that both of them met each other, it makes you wonder and worried about a lot of things. Most of all is, what if Jungkook find out about the deal?

"E-Excuse me, miss? I-I- can you help me?" a female worker bumped into you with tears streaming down her face.

"W-What can I help you?"

"I-I was supposed to find this yellow file for Mr. Jeon in the storage room b-but I just got an emergency call that my child just got into accident. I-I have to go now but the file is important for the meeting right now. C-Can you please help me looking for it? It's just right under the stairs. Please." She was looking all panic and frustrated, a little help won't hurt anyone, right?

"Okay, sure. Calm down, okay? Take a deep breath and just go. I will find them and give it to Mr. Jeon. So, don't worry and go. I'll pray the best for your child." you pat her shoulder lightly before she run away.
