And he kept his promise.
He stayed there for me all through the times when I was fighting with my inner demons. We didn't meet up much, he was always busy and I never really got the courage to ask him to meet him either. After a while, when I started getting better, we stopped talking. I was waiting for only one day. When I could finally see them again.

Their wedding day.

I didn't expect to be there before the preparations, I didn't consider myself his friend anymore. Rosé however was there for all of it. She was the one helping Jimin get ready. During that time, I was laying in my bed, in a hotel in Iceland. I should've been getting ready, but it was as if I was stuck. One part of me kept saying it was wrong for me to attend. Even though I was invited, I felt that it was out of pity. But one hour before Rosé came to pick me up, I stood up and sat myself down in front of the mirror. I did my makeup and chose a dress to wear. Something that helped me blend in into the guests. I wore a white sleeveless mini-dress and a gray faux fur jacket. My shoes were plain gray heels. This was the theme they were going for. They asked the guests to dress in white and grey. On the other hand, noone knew what the couple would wear.

Once Rosé picked me up, she ran back to continue dressing Jimin. Or maybe herself. The venue was in another hotel. One with a beautiful outlook on the beach. It was cold in Reykjavik, so as nice as it would've been to have the wedding outside, the snow changed everyone's minds. I grabbed a glass of white wine and waited for the grooms. I knew the ceremony started when everyone went quiet and a man walked down the isle, the one who was going to announce them as husbands.

A ceremonial song started playing, Jungkook was walked down the aisle by his father. His mother stood next to me, observing everything with a big smile. He was dressed fully in white.

All the guests were close to the couple and only their family was allowed to take pictures. I was still in shock that I was even allowed at the wedding. The ceremony went fast. I snapped out of my thoughts just in time to witness them exchanging their vows. It was lovely. I spotted Jimin's grandparents sitting in the front, and the other boys were watching close as well. Both Jimin and Jungkook seemed so happy, they were trying their best not to cry at each other's voice. There was a point when Jimin's voice broke and he had to put himself together under just seconds. The crowd was still in awe, many left out an "aw'. " Thank you for choosing me." Jimin told Jungkook.

Rosé stepped over to me and whispered something in my ear. " He had his vows written down,  but he chose to switch to what he wanted to say."

I nodded and gave her a small smile. Jungkook had already said his vows, but he still responded. " You know you were always my first choice!"

Suddenly, quite unexpectedly, Yoongi shouted in. " And that is love, everyone!" He was kind of drunk, well most of the crowd were.

Both grooms burst into big laughter, some of the crowd just clapped. The officiant decided to finally get on with the wedding. They put on their rings.

" Jimin, do you take Jungkook as your husband?"  The officiant asked.

" I do." Jimin nodded.

" Jungkook, do you take Jimin as your husband?" The officiant now looked at Jungkook.

" I do." Jungkook smiled at the pink-haired male in front of him.

" Now, I pronounce you two husband and husband." The officiant raised his voice. " You may ki-" Before the officiant could finish his speech, the two had already leaned into the kiss. It was so quick that nobody saw who went first. " Oh, you already know!" The officiant waved his hand and giggled with a big smile on his face. Most of the crowd left out giggles as well, but I was still completely silent. I just didn't feel right there.

The party afterwards was the slowest thing I had ever witnessed, as if time was stuck. I needed to get some air, so I stood out to the hallway where the backdoor was opened. Unexpectedly, Jimin stepped over to me. I respectfully bowed my head, because I hadn't seen him in a while and he did the same.

" Congratulations." I looked at him, trying to force out a smile.

" Thank you." He said and leaned against the wall.

" Shouldn't you be enjoying your party?" I laughed.

" I am." Jimin smiled. I saw that he was indeed very happy, his eyes shined. " But he's in the bathroom and I'm tired of having to dance with every second elderly person. And you?"

" I just don't feel like I have the right to be here." I shrugged. " That's it. I mean, if I'm honest I don't make much difference to the guest list."

He left out a sigh, thinking about what to say. " Honestly, it was my grandma who sent you the invitation, I didn't really..." He shook his head, trying not to say anything offensive.

" You didn't want me to come, I know." I nodded. " Look, I'm not here to ruin your wedding. I am happy for you, you are married to a man anyone would die to have. I want you to be the happiest person today because you deserve it. I will not fuck it up for you."

" I won't make you leave." Jimin shook his head awkwardly. " But if you want to go, you can."

" I will be honest with you..." I left out a deep sigh and bit the inside of my left cheek. " I know I'm part of one of the most horrible times of your life. And I really don't want you to constantly feel guilt for what happened between us. What happened, happened. There have been enough misunderstandings. There's no reason for us to be in each other's life anymore."

He didn't show any reaction on his face, he was leaning to the wall next to us. " That'd be better for you?"

" For both of us." I nodded. " As if we never knew each other."

" Okay." He responded without doubting anything.

I made my way outside, deciding to call a taxi back to the hotel. I grabbed my coat from the wardrobe and waited at the end of the hallway. Jungkook and Jimin were both out in the hallway, they wanted some time alone. They were joking around and giggling. They were genuinely happy. They were so lost in their own worlds that they didn't even notice me standing there.

When the taxi's car horn went off,  I grabbed onto the doorknob and threw one last glance at the newlyweds. " Congratulations." I smiled. Then I stepped out into the snowy weather and took my seat in the car. Half through the way to the hotel, my phone buzzed. Rosé had sent me the dance that was only for the couple. They were dancing to From This Moment On

I turned my phone off and stuffed it in my bag. Suddenly as if all the moments of the past 3 years passed through in front of my eye. I knew it was a chapter of my life I was never going to forget, but it was time to move on.

The End

A/N: Hi, I'm sorry that this took me so long. But I was 14 when I started the first book and while writing I've grown a lot. I'm 17 now, I prefer writing about other things. I don't like to leave unfinished works, so this was a big challenge for me to finish. It's not the best, I know, but for me, it was a fitting ending.
