Bays POV
Whelp, today's the day. I'm going to Australia with Nicole.
"Do you have to go so soon?" Adam hugged a potato. Adam said joking around as he ate it.
"Well you didn't give it much time to answer" I laughed. He put it down and looked at me, "im gonna miss you," I smiled "Couldn't you tell work to take off this month?"
"I asked, and they said no, on that week I'm only getting off Christmas Eve" I frowned
"But it's Christmas, don't they even have hearts?"
"I think not... I can try and ask again for me to come down on Christmas, but you already know how busy the airlines are." I hugged him
"Please try." I began to tear up as I hugged him.
"As you wish."
Nicole's POV
IM FREAKING GOING TO AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!!! Wait a second... Bay hasn't even told me why... WHATEVER. WHO CARES, IM STILL GOING!!! Okay, Nicole, calm down. I have a feeling I'm forgetting something. Oh well. I took up my carry on and I walked out of my apartment, to my car, and to Bays house.
As soon as I opened the door, Bay was standing there with my suitcase. That's what I was forgetting omg. Good thing I left it here.
Adam drove us to the airport and we said our goodbyes, but then something happened.
Bays POV
As Adam and I walked, he started to say things about love and such. Then he did something I never thought anyone would do for a while. He got down on one knee. "Adam..." I said slowly.
"Bay, you are my everything. Even though we have only been together for 756 days, well 757 including today, I knew the moment that I laid my eyes on you that we would be together forever. I know that you would do anything for me and I would do anything for you. I know this is a lot to think about, but I'm sure if you know what it is you want, then you will choose the right answer. I know this is a bit cliche but I know you like it that way. So what do you say, Bay Marine, will you marry me?" I don't know what to say, I'm speechless. I love him so much. I realized that I have been crying. ".. Yes Adam Aldrid, yes I will" he put the most beautiful ring I have ever seen on my finger, stood up and kissed me. "I'm sorry, I was supposed to do this on Christmas, but I couldn't wait." He said
"Don't apologize, this was perfect." We smiled. I wouldn't have noticed the time, but over the p.a said "all boarding the 12:36 flight to Australia, please do so now." But I couldn't leave. Adam had just proposed to me. But I know I had to. I saw people standing around us, saying "Awww" I walked with Adam for as long as I could, then security caught him and told him he couldn't pass. All Adam said was
"Don't say goodbye, goodbye means going way, and going away means forgetting"
"See you later" I said as our hands slipped away from each other's grip
"As to you."
