Chapter 6- Careers and Complications

Bay's POV

Today is the day that I'm going to see Ross do some work.. Heh.. It's funny to imagine celebrities actually doing work.

I've always thought that celebrities like Ross just sit around and do nothing.. Hah..

I took a shower- well, not shower, obviously.. and got myself all dolled up with a pair of dark purple jeans and a black top together with the necklace that Ross gave me.

I slid on a pair of blue flats and grabbed my purse before walking downstairs.

I grabbed some breakfast, sitting on the couch waiting for Ross to come and pick me up.

He's taking forever..

After realizing that he was coming so late I sat outside.

Maybe his phone died..

Or maybe he stood me up..?

I bit my lip before I look up and see Ross' car pull up in the driveway.

"Bay!" He yelled through his car, trying to get out but he stopped because his seatbelt was still around his body.

He seemed really frantic as I watch him look at his watch and fumble his way out of his car.

So I decided to play with him a little bit.

"What took you so long?" I crossed my arms as he walked up to me, having the tone of voice of Aunty whenever I miss curfew. "You said you were coming at 12.. It's 1:43, Ross."

I watched his face go white. He bit his lip and held onto my hands, "I-I'm sorry, I was-"

I simply smiled at him, causing him to stop talking.

"..I bet I can make it up to you." He said as he was now smiling as he took my hands as he was holding them and brought them up behind his neck as he stepped closer to me and held onto my waist.

I try to stay cross with him.. But what he was doing only made me smile more. "Oh yeah? How?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow.

He smirked slightly, leaning down to give me a quick kiss against my lips. "I'll show you, just follow me."

I found it hard not to smile once he kissed me. I still can't believe that this is all really happening.. "Mm.." I nod with half-lidded eyes.

When we got there only a few minutes later, Ross pulled up his car to a huge building that had the word 'Studio 1,' in big white lettering written across the side. "Ross.. Where are we?" I asked questioningly as I take in my surroundings.

He looked over at me and smiled at my puzzled expression. He didn't say a word as he put his car in park and got out. Of course, this only made me even more confused.

Opening the passenger side door, he put his hand out for me to take and rolling my eyes with a smile, I take it and step out.

We walk together hand in hand as he brings me through the door to be introduced to many new faces.. To be honest, I put these things together and realized that we were on one of the sets for one of the shows or movies that he's in... If only I knew which one..

I only figured it out when I saw a familiar face welcome me with a hello, casually hugging Ross with a hi and asking me who I am.

"Hey." I smiled, "I'm Bay.. Sorry I feel ignorant.. I know you as Ally.."

She chuckled, "No, that's okay, it's Laura." She told me as we shook hands. "So you're here as Ross'...?" She smiled widely.

I looked up at Ross, seeing him with a cocky smile as he slowly put his arm around my waist.
