3rd person
It was a regular morning for Jack Kelly. Wake up, get ready, go into town, mess with the Delancy's. But little did he know, he was about to meet the love of his life.

"Go Jack!" Race yelled.

Jack grabbed Morris's hat and took off. He turned his head to see if the Delancey's had caught up to him. He didn't see them and when he looked forward a carriage was head right toward him. Luckily, someone yanked his arm and pulled him away.

Thud!

He fell on top of someone. But not just anyone, the most beautiful girl he had every seen. Flustered, he got up and helped the girl up.

"Thanks for saving me miss"

"No problem, the names Y/n. Y/n Conlon"

"A pretty name for a pretty girl. My names Jack Kelly, but my friends call me cowboy"

"Hey!" Jack looked over his shoulder and saw Morris and Oscar running over to them. Jack grabbed Y/n's hand and ran.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere we can be alone"

He ran into an alley and waited for the Delancey's to pass it.

"What are you do-"

"Shh!" He put a finger over his mouth.

"Where did that street rat go? There he is!" They ran into a barber shop. Boy, did Jack feel bad for the poor kid in the barber shop.

"Follow me"

Jack led the way to the Irving Hall. Where a very good friend of his worked. They entered through the back door.

"Medda!" Jack shouted.

"Who's here? My, my, Jack Kelly. How long has it been kid? You gotta visit more often"

"I know, I know, I'm sorry Medda" He kissed her hand.

"Oh and how rude of me, I'm Medda dear" She shook Y/n's hand. "Jack why don't you stay and watch the show, it's about to start"

"Mrs. Medda! You're on in five!"

"Coming! You kids can hang out backstage and watch"

The two went backstage and watched Medda perform.

"So, where you from, Mrs. Conlon"

"I'm from Brooklyn, you?"

"Same, I'm a newsboy. Speaking of being a newsboy I should probably get back soon"

"How's selling goin' in Manhattan"

"It's pretty good actually, well apart from the head line being the same for three weeks in a row"

"I might have to ask Spot if I'd can sell here"

"You know Spot?"

"Yeah, he's my brother...it didn't cross your mind that we might be related? We literally have the same last name"

"I thought it was just a coincidence! I- uh, your not gonna tells him about this...are ya?"

"Of course not, he would kill both of us if I did"

"After we're done selling for today how bout I take you to Tibby's for supper? I'll pay"

"Sure! So is it likes a date?"

"I guess it is Miss Conlon. Is six a good time?"

"Yeah, well I should get going. By the way, you're gonna have to figure out what I'm gonna tell Spot later"

Jacks POV
This was either the best day of my life or it could be the last.

~Timeskip~

Me and Y/n were eating and talking about Spot.

"He's a pain in the ass! It's always "Where were you? Who were you with?"" Y/n exclaimed.

"He's probably just worried about ya'"

"You're taking his side?"

"Well you never know who's listening"

The front door opened and just my luck.

Spot Conlon is standing there scanning the room. After a few second we made eye contact.

"So, a little birdie told me that Jackie boy and my dear little sister are fooling around now huh?"

He said walking towards us.

"Hi....Spot" I chuckled nervously.

"Alright Jack, give me on good reason me and my boys shouldn't soak you right now. And Y/n give me one good reason why I shouldn't ground you for the rest of your life"
