Unfortunately pulling him down with me.

He said it wasn't my fault,

But it was - and I could see.

I told him about my struggles,

About the man's urge for pain.

He gently kissed the scars,

And asked for him not to come again.

To make me feel like a princess in a crown.

"We are in this together".

But he was never the one,

To carry this burden around forever.

As my love for him grew stronger,

The pain did also.

I loved him so much,

But I wouldn't say I was in  love though...
