Everyone says that 'love' is a very strong word,
But you know you actually love someone,
When even the word doesn't sound grand enough,
To explain the thrill and the excitement and the fun.
As she lay here in my arms,
I sweep her hair out of her eyes.
Telling her that,
Until forever, she will be my prize.
She said that forever was a long time,
I think completely different.
Because forever just isn't a long enough time,
To be with someone significant.
"Evelyn Moore", I said to her,
"Even though it's not long enough,
I promise to love you forever, all of forever, and nothing but forever,
No matter if it's sometimes rough".
At me rhyming,
She had laughed in delight.
And then I knew for sure,
That this was definitely right.
She actually amazed me everyday,
And made my heart soar.
I genuinely think,
That I've never loved anyone more.
