Chapter 13

Snake looked back at Siren. Snake shoved Siren off of him. "Who are you?" Snake sneered. Siren gasped silently and stepped back. "I'm Siren, your sister." She answered slowly. Snake looked away and said "Tsk." 

Siren thought that the Guardians taught them to not remember their family, or care about them. Siren sighed. The other dragonets looked at her. 

"Hi, I'm Seaweed." The female, green Seawing said curiously. "That Skywing is Cardinal, the Icewing is Snowdrift, and the Mudwing is Lilypad." Seaweed finished.

"We lost Fennec and Shardseeker a long time ago." Seaweed said with a sad tone. "We lost Fennec when she got kidnapped by a Sandwing, and Shardseeker when he and Doom went out to get a Rainwing dragonet." Seaweed curled her tail in. 

Siren gasped. So Shardseeker was one of the prophecy dragonets. She thought. "I need to g—" Siren said, but was interrupted by Snowdrift saying "Well hello, Siren. You can stay as long as you want, just— don't get caught." Snowdrift laid her tail on her talons, and turned back to talk to Lilypad.

Siren sighed. She glanced at Snake, who had ripples of unreadable feelings. Siren sighed and got a scroll and started reading. She picked a scroll called "Another evil dragon?" and started reading.

~Another evil dragon?~

Could there be another evil dragon? Lets see. So, there has been rumors of stolen goods, jewels, and rarities. There could be a suspect behind it. The suspect's name is Sandstorm. A female Sandwing dragon, who seems to be as evilly smart as Blister. Stay away from Sandstorm, who knows what she could do to you. 

So, recently, an animus touched necklace was stolen from Queen Thorn's treasure room. How did they get there? Was it a guard? Probably not, was it Sandstorm, probably.

Sandstorm is a Sandwing who thinks that they are the Queen of the world, she has been thinking of a plan for a while now. But now, there aren't any more sightings of her. There has also been a massive decrease in Sandwing guards. Sandstorm says she's coming back with an all new plan, but who knows?

Siren finished reading the scroll and was shocked. Sandstorm was going to take Skyfall for herself and use the citizens to fight for her in her plan. Siren growled softly and spread her wings. 

"If you think you can just fly away, you can't. Why do you think we haven't escaped yet?" Lilypad blurted. Siren thought about that. Then she got a plan. "I will camouflage and wait for Doom to go out of the cave." Siren declared. 

"Well, good luck?" Cardinal said like she didn't care at all. Siren camouflaged and ran out of the cave. She saw Doom getting ready to go hunt. Perfect timing. Siren thought.

Doom placed his talons on the hole in the door, and twisted them. The door went into the ground again. Siren dashed out of the cave and into the sky. Doom heard the wingbeats, and flew after her, thinking it was Snake. 

"Oh no you don't! Get back here or I will make you starve for a few days!" Doom roared as he chased Siren swiftly. Holy moly, he's fast for an old dragon. She thought. 

Siren ducked and dived into the trees, zig-zagging from left and right, and up and down. Doom's wingspan was so big, it slowed him down. Siren managed to lose him. Siren flew back to the cave with the Season Sisters.
