(This is Shardseeker's POV, starting where Siren flew away through the broken window)

Shardseeker watched Siren fly through the broken window. He sighed and hoped she would stay safe. Shardseeker flew through the window and flew towards Pyyhria. He looked back at the fighting, he flew faster towards the edge. Shardseeker flew through the clouds, and started to fly towards Pyyhria.

Shardseeker was flying over the Sandwing Kingdom now, he was flying alone. Shardseeker had to think of somewhere to go. Aha! The Rainwing Kingdom! Shardseeker thought. He would definitely get some kind of help there, or at least, he hoped so. He started to fly south, towards the Jade Mountains.

Shardseeker was in the Jade Mountain range. It took him a few days. He looked down at the small forest below him. He saw a dark figure, like a Nightwing, move through the trees. Shardseeker suddenly remembered that place. It was the "Cave of Stone". And that Nightwing that was moving was Doom, his cruel guardian.

Shardseeker flew faster away from the Cave of Stone. Luckily, Doom didn't see Shardseeker, so he was safe for now. He knew if Doom found him, he would be sleeping on the cold, stone floor, be separated from the rest of the dragonets, and be hungry for about a week.

Shardseeker was entering the Rainforest territory. It was very hot above the canopy. Shard flew down into the trees. It would slow him, but he would be a lot cooler.

The flight to the main part of the Rainforest took more than 2 hours. Shardseeker landed on a platform.

"Shard! You're back!" A voice yelled from the trees. A purple and blue Rainwing hung from their tail. Shard stepped back.

"Hello, Raspberry." Shardseeker said calmly. Raspberry started to chatter. "I'm so glad you're back! I missed you! You missed a lot of stuff! Some Nightwing were kicked out, Queen Glory and Deathbringer—" Raspberry babbled on and on. Shard sighed and walked away.

Shardseeker inhaled the fresh Rainforest breeze. Shard was glad to be back. Shard looked for some of his Nightwing friends. He flew around the village, just to find no sign of them. He sighed and flew back to his den.

Should I go back to the Cave of Stone? Or should I go back and help Siren?  Shard sighed and flew off to get food, he hasn't eaten in a while.

He grabbed a mango and started to eat it.

He knew what he had to do. He had to go back and help Siren. Shard was a coward.

Shard decided to leave his peaceful life in the Rainwing kingdom, and help Siren. He spread his wings, and flew off.

It took him some more days to just get to the Jade Mountains. He was flying above the Cave of Stone, he didn't even think twice to be quiet. Doom looked up at the sky. Doom had just chased Siren, but Shard didn't know.

Doom flew up swiftly and followed Shard. Shard forgot that this place was where the Cave of Stone was. When he turned around, he saw Doom tackle him to the ground. Shard roared and flapped his wings vigorously.

Doom got him to the ground. Doom held Shardseeker down. Doom scanned Shard. Doom roared in Shard's face. "WHY DID YOU ESCAPE?!" Doom roared furiously. He pushed into Shards chest harder.

"I just wanted to see the outside world for once!" Shard squealed with fear.

Doom growled at Shard. Doom grabbed Shard by the tail and dragged him into the cave in the ground. Doom opened the door and threw Shard in.

"You are going to be in complete SOLITUDE for a week!" Doom roared. Shard cowered and nodded his head. Current came out of the water and stared at Shard, unwilling to help. Seaweed came out of the hall where Shard would have been sleeping, and stared at him. Seaweed ran away.

Doom went into the Guardians cave and brought Shard with him. Doom went into the room that was the coldest, or hottest (depending on the season) in the whole cave.

The room was very small, only big enough for a dragonet to spread their wings in. It was a square room with iron shackles on the back wall. There were iron bars high on the wall and covering a window.

The wall was made of large stone bricks. There was a small, uncomfortable bed on the side of the room.

Doom shoved Shard into the room. Doom attached the iron shackles onto Shard. "You will stay there. I am NOT losing any more dragonets." Doom growled. Doom closed the iron door, and Shardseeker was left in the small, cramped room, for a week.
