Wings of Fire: The Call of Skyfall [1]

Chapter 2

Siren flew back to her den from sun time, she was relaxed and feeling good. It was about 8:00 pm when she went back to her den. She curled up and re-read the scroll. When she was done, she closed her eyes, and went to sleep. She heard the Icewing roar again, but didn't mind it. 

She dreamt that she was flying to Skyfall. When she looked down, she saw that it was near the Sandwing kingdom. She flew up into the clouds. The cloud were thick and tried to push her out but a huge Icewing flew behind her and carried her through the clouds. The Icewing was very fast. By the time Siren made it through, it was so bright, it woke her up. She barely got to see Skyfall.

Siren woke up, confused because she thought she was in Skyfall. "Well, now I know I can't do this alone." Siren sighed. She flew out of her den and flew into Shardseeker's den. 

"Hey Shardseeker, wake up!" Siren snorted. "Huh?" Shardseeker yelped. "I have more info about Skyfall" Siren beamed. Siren told Shardseeker about her dream and that it could be real. "How could you be so sure its true?" Shardseeker questioned. "I just know." Siren grumbled as her scales started to turn yellowish orange.

Shardseeker sighed and packed some fruit in a bag made of leaves. "Huh?" Siren squeaked. "I thought you were going to tell me it was fake and we shouldn't waste our time." She continued. "Well, I thought it'd be best to look up Skyfall if there was some true information about it," Shardseeker chuckled. "There has been some dragons to fly into the clouds, but most of them got pushed out. But the ones that didn't, stayed there forever." He finished.

Siren was amazed that he actually wanted to help her. "Alright, lets get ready to go." She squealed. She flew to a fruit tree and packed some of her favorite fruits. Shardseeker packed some of his favorites too, and he brought the scroll about Skyfall. "Ready?" Siren asked. "Ready." Shardseeker affirmed. Siren and Shardseeker took off and started to fly towards a portal to the Sandwing kingdom.
