Wings of Fire: The Call of Skyfall [1]

Chapter 5

Siren, Shardseeker, and Snowy took off and flew back to the Sandwing kingdom. Siren looked for a cloudy sky. Sandstorm threw a tracking device onto the back of Snowy, and then flew off.

Siren flew to the sandwing kingdom "beach". Siren looked there, no sign of it. Siren, Shardseeker, and Snowy split up and looked for it. ━ They came back a few hours later and none of them found it. 

"If I were a hidden kingdom, where would I hide.." Siren thought out loud. "Lets just stay here for the night." Shardseeker said as he pointed to an oasis. "Alright." Siren sighed.

Snowy was lying in the cold sand, Shardseeker was reading a scroll, and Siren was sitting by the fire. 

Then, suddenly the Icewing season goddess came from the sky. She was bigger than Darkstalker. Siren looked up at her. "G-guys?" Siren asked nervously. Snowy gasped. "MOTHER?" Snowy roared. 

"Hello, sweetheart." The goddess chattered. "I can help you find Skyfall, just don't tell anyone." She said in a soft, growl to Siren. 

"That would be very helpful, ma'am!" Siren squealed. 

"Hop on." The season goddess ordered. Shardseeker was puzzled. "How..?" He asked. 

"Just trust me" She replied. Snowy hopped on and said it was safe. Siren pulled Shardseeker onto it. 

"Hold tight." The season goddess warned. The season goddess took off very fast. Siren held onto her spike. The season goddess was higher up than any dragon could ever go. She flew down almost as fast as the speed of light.

 The season goddess started to fly through some thick clouds. Siren looked behind her and she saw the scorpion den from there, it looked like an ant (very, very small). 

The season goddess flew through the clouds and Siren and Shardseeker saw Skyfall for the 1st time. It looked majestic. The island was floating. There was a waterfall that had aqua blue/turquoise, clear water. The mist from the water smelled like a beach. The cloud wall shaded the sides of Skyfall. There was a large hole in the clouds at the top of Skyfall. The moons' rays made the Blue-Green water shimmer.

The season goddess flew through the waterfall of the floating island and landed in a town that was just as big as the scorpion den. "By the way, I'm Valor." Valor grinned. Valor flew up into the sky and became a constellation again. 

Snowy saw her sisters and hugged them. "Tomorrow, meet us at the forest of seasons." Snowy beamed as she flew away. Siren walked to a stand that seemed to be the entrance to the town.

 "Welcome to Stardew town!" A happy sandwing called out to her from the stand. She looked at Shardseeker and shrugged. 

"Hello, 2 dens please?" Siren asked. 

"Sure thing!" The Sandwing exclaimed. "Here is your keys to the dens and they are both near the park!" The Sandwing told her as they opened the gate. "Also, here is a map of Skyfall and A map of Stardew city!" The Sandwing continued. "Also, no eating the scavengers." They finished. "Have a nice time!" 

They waved. Siren and Shardseeker flew to the park. They saw scavengers that have colorful clothing. Siren and Shardseeker were amazed, and flew off to their dens. "Goodnight!" They both exclaimed.

 Siren flew over the city. There were a lot of dens. She saw some scavengers wandering the streets. Siren shook her head and flew to a den that was near the park. She looked around. The park was right across the street. 

The gate to the park seemed to be made of solid metal. Siren twisted her head back to her den. It looked like a hay bale, but it was wide. Siren inserted a key into a hole in the door. The door went loose, and opened.

 Siren looked at her den, it looked fancier than her old den. There were three rooms. One of them was an area to sleep. One was an area to eat, and one was an open area. Her den could fit about 10 dragons with space to spread their wings. 

The same was for the rest of the town. The roof of her den was two adult dragons high. She flapped her wings and flew to the area where food was stored. 

There were pears, apples, oranges, and bananas already there in a basket. She took a banana and flew to the sleeping area. She lied down on the leafy bed. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
