Chapter 15
Harry wrapped his arms around me and arched his back to lift my feet off the ground. I was so glad to see him. I barely knew him and for some reason, I actually missed him.
"What are you doing here?" I asked and he put me down a let go of me.
"You said you were left alone" He said with his perfect accent.
"Yeah, but they were going to be right back"
"You were crying" He said looking at me with empathy in his eyes.
He drove all this way to come find me just because I was crying? I wasn't even upset that I was alone. I was upset because I have a freaking scar across my neck that will remind me of what happened every time I look in a mirror.
"Thank you so much for the flowers, they were so pretty!" I said trying to change the subject from me crying. Anything would be better then talking about that with Harry.
"You're welcome! I was hoping you would like them" He said taking a step closer to me.
My heart was nearly jumping out of my chest. I wouldn't be surprised if my face was red because I get hot and sweaty when i'm nervous. I am not going to lie, Harry makes me nervous. Mainly because I am scared to say something stupid. Also because I am not really sure why he talks to me in the first place.
"Get in the car, I will drive" Harry said and he stepped away from me and turned his body towards the car.
"What about Carrie and Niall? They should be back soon" I said.
"Screw them, they left you here alone. Plus when they get back they would have already found help so they don't need you. Just text them and tell them you are coming with me" He said kind of begging me.
I was a little scared to just ditch the two of them. This trip was my idea in the first place. I really don't want to make Carrie mad. Plus, it would be a bad first impression to Niall and he will believe anything Carrie says about me. If she is mad, she could say anything.
"I don't know how I feel about that. I want to, don't get me wrong, I would just feel so guilty" I said
"I honestly don't think they will care if you just text them" He says.
I guess he is right. If I at least tell them I am leaving they shoudln't get mad at me. I really want to go with him too. Just being around him makes me happy.
"Fine" I said and he smiled.
I took my phone out and sent Carrie a text saying 'Harry picked me up, we are going to hangout for awhile please don't be mad. Text me if you need anything'
She almost instantly replied with just a winkey face. Okay so she isn't mad.
Harry walked over to me and gave me another hug. I wasn't sure why but I wasn't against it. I wrapped my arms around him and pushed my face into his chest. I felt his chin rest on the top of my head as he squeezed harder. It only lasted a few seconds before we both got into his car.
"I am really glad you came" He said to me as he turned the key to make the engine roar.
I just nodded because this was too good to be true. Something bad is going to happen. That is what happened the last few times anyways. He came on Ellen which was a surprise in itself. Then I found out it was just for the public. He saved me from the mob, then he disappeared. He texted me and asked me to come meet him, picked me up once we had car troubles, and now something bad is going to happen. I can feel it.
"Me too" I finally answered.
"What do you want to do before the show? We have some time to kill"
"I don't really care" I said being completely honest. I just wanted to be near him.
He didn't say anything as he accelerated enough to safely pull into oncoming traffic. I wasn't sure where we were going but like I just said, I don't really care. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I took my phone out to see that my Mom had texted me asking how the trip was going so far. She doesn't know about the flat tire and me being alone with Harry. I plan on keeping it that way. I just replied with 'good'. Short and simple.
"How is school?" Harry asked without looking away from the road. He only had one hand on the steering wheel and was leaning on the door. There is just something so hot about him driving.
"You're going to ask me about school?" I said kind of laughing "You can do better than that"
"I was just trying to start conversation" He said laughing.
"What is your favorite color?"
"You can do better than that" He said mocking me
"Hey! That is a good question! You can learn a lot about a person from their favorite color" I said in a playful voice.
"Like what?" He said with a smile on his face. He playfully punched my arm and I punched him back.
"I don't know, like if their favorite color is blue they are sad all the time" I said making up complete crap.
"That isn't even the slightest bit true" He said laughing even harder.
The drive went a lot faster then I expected. Harry pulled into a parking lot and I looked around to see where we might be stopping at. There wasn't anything that really stuck out to me. We made a turn around the building and we parked in front of a pet store.
"What are we doing here?" I asked kind of confused.
"We are going to go play with the puppies and kittens" He said "Doesn't that sound fun?"
I have to be honest, I have never been taking to a pet store before just to play with the animals. I am not really sure if I find this weird or not. What guy wants to play with baby animals for fun? Normally guys go hunting, or eat a lot of meat.
"Let's go" He said as he hopped out of the car.
