Chapter 2: Starting A New Life Pt. 2-School Revelations

Two months later, on a random street in a random street in Tokyo. 2 pm.

By this point, we see our brunette walking down the somewhat empty streets of Tokyo, on his way to a train station. With him, was his backpack, his phone in his left pocket and some luggage: he was finally moving out to get into Aleophoros.

He was wearing glasses for once. He ditched the contact lenses as his eyes started to get a bit irritated and he didn't want to risk damaging the lenses. His solution was to get some new grades for his glasses lenses along with a band that allows him to wear his spectacles like some kind of a necklace.

The fact that Yun kept telling him to go back to wearing glasses might as well contributed to the reason he wears them today.

He brought out his phone, and saw a notification: Yun.

Putting in the password to his phone, he checked what his closest friend texted him.

"You on your way to the station? I'll meet you there! :)" it read.

"Sigh. Must she always be like this?" he wondered out loud.

He texted back: "Yep, be there in a few."

"Why are you so cold in text?!" she exclaimed as a reply.

"Should I be as lively in chat as you are in real life?"

"...you know what fine go ahead. :("

As he read the last text, he thought: 'This is the closest thing I'll ever have to a best friend apparently.' and sighed.

As expected, the train station started to come into view by the time he looked up from his phone. He started to pick up the pace as he didn't want to leave Yun waiting, she was probably there.

When he arrived at the station, he got his wallet out to make sure he brought the ticket needed to go to the school in the first place.

Flashback, a week ago. Tatsuyama Residence, 4 pm.

Ding dong!

"I wonder what that could be?" Izumi asked out loud.

"Onii, get the door. I'm gonna use the bathroom." Shizu said, hastily walking as she spoke.

"Must it always be me? Why can't Ria-" he was interrupted when he heard-

Zzz...

"-do it." he turned to the futon and saw the sleeping yet adorable figure of his other little sister.

Zzz...

"Welp, I've got no choice in the matter now, do I?" resigned the elder Tatsuyama.
