Chapter 20

Y/N's POV.

After driving for an hour or two, I managed to find an old and abandoned train station up ahead.

Clementine woke up just as I parked the car outside of the train station so we could take a look.

AJ: Should we do it?

Clementine: We're doing it.

Clementine gives AJ a knife just as I turn off the engine. I open the door and Clementine gives me her backpack.

Clementine: Get anything we need from the trunk.

I nod as I got out of the car and walked over to the back of the car and opened up the trunk.

There was a bottle of water, a crowbar, and a Disco Broccoli toy. I picked up the toy and looked at the hole in it. I sigh and put it back in the trunk. I put the water bottle in the bag and I get the crowbar and close the back.

Clementine and AJ get out of the car. I tossed over to Clementine her backpack

Clementine: Do we have anything?

Y/N: If you include an empty water bottle as something.

She walks over to my side of the car as I held the crowbar in both hands.

Clementine: Alright, let's find some food.

Y/N: And anything else we need.

I walk over to a metal barrier and see a bell hung on a plank of wood.

Y/N: Friendly? Ring the bell.

AJ: What does that mean?

Clementine: That means the people here, shoot first.

We walk past the metal barrier and into the wide path which had wrecked trains on each side. We walked down the path and we see a walker get up.

Clementine moves AJ behind her as she uses one hand to keep him behind her and the other to take out her knife.

Another walker gets up from a nearby tree with a tire swing.

Y/N: You know the drill. AJ, stay back, okay?

AJ: Okay.

Clementine: I got right, you got left.

Y/N: On it.

I rush towards the walker next to the tree which was making its way towards me as I held the crowbar above my head, ready to swing it. Once I got close enough, I hit its legs to knock it down and finished it off with a slam to the head.

I turn around and see Clementine kicking the other walker's legs and stabbed it from the top of its head. I walk back over to them as AJ regrouped with us.

Clementine: They're dead, Still with us?

AJ: Yeah, no bites.

I smile as I look at the building.

Y/N: Now, we find a way in.

I walk over to the porch while the other two check the side yard.

I checked the door and it was locked, not surprised. I turn around and see AJ and Clementine looking at the tire swing.

AJ: Monster trap?

Clementine: No, AJ, you swing on it.

AJ furrows his eyebrows.

Clementine: For fun?
