Chapter 10

Long Timeskip
Javi's POV.

After me and David's plan to overthrow Joan failed, we got locked up.

After some time, Joan took David out of the cell for a "talk" as she says.

I was able to break out of the cell with a little help from Gabe.

He then took me to an apartment Eleanor got which was much safer than David's house.

We all hashed out a plan. We needed to take down Joan first before we could break out David.

We needed weapons, which we didn't have at the apartment. We all agreed that me, Ava and Gabe should find them after Gabe mentioned the Armory.

We walked in earlier and found Tripp and Eleanor arguing about the thing they have between each other, to which he asked me for advice.

I told him to just follow what his heart desires, at that this is the apocalypse, and he should might as well go deep.

After me and Gabe snuck into the building where Ava said the Armory was after she distracted the guard, I busted the lock of the door to the Armory.

After collecting a few weapons and finding my bat from earlier, Ava walked in and saw us. She told us that me and Gabe should go look around for a bit and maybe look for Y/N and Clementine.

But just as we round a corner, a fat guard was coming our way to which me and Gabe hid inside a closet.

We were gonna wait until the guard passed until Gabe went all ballsy and tried attacking the guard, to which he was easily beaten.

The guard then aimed the gun at him to which I quickly dashed towards him and tried taking the gun away.

He managed to drop the gun only for him to pull out a knife and stab my arm.

I then used my upper arm to choke him until he passed out as I sat against the wall while holding my arm.

Gabe them got up and went towards me.

Gabe: Ja-javi. Oh my god, are you okay?  I'm so sorry.

Javi: Argh, dammit Gabe! Does it fucking look like I'm okay?

Gabe: I'm sorry. He then looks down in shame.

Ava then came around the corner with the duffle bag of weapons and sees us.

Ava: Dammit, i can't leave you two alone for a minute, can I?

Gabe then moves out of the way as Ava inspects the wound.

Ava: Jeez, this is a deep cut. You'll need to get it cleaned and stitched up.

Javi: Dammit.

I then get up.

Ava: The infirmary is just around the corner there. She says pointing at a corner. Me and your nephew will be out here on lookout.

Javi: Alright then. Let's get this over with.

Ava: You have any guns on you?

Javi: Umm, no. Why?

Ava: Sure, Lingard and David are like best buds, but he is still apart of Richmond's council. Bringing in weapons won't really persuade him that well.

Javi: might be for the best anyway.

I start walking down the hall and turn the corner and kept walking until I made it to the door which was labeled "infirmary"
