Eurus Claudia Novak is, in many ways, a visionary.

Her explanations, her methodology, her entire approach to thought presaged developments in psychology is very impressing. Her way of thinking seems almost inevitable, a clear product of intelligence passed over time and places.

She is born and learned as one, a genius.
Although, the people hated her for it.

For some reason, the people of Helene, doesn't like how one of them seems to know everything. Every Truths beyond the lies and every lie behind those truths. They hated that one of them grasps a knowledge far beyond a normal scope of an average child. And Eurus, didn't understand how it just made sense for her them.

Her childhood was also far from normal. She holds a power that others cannot have. A power that will soon change every fiber of her being.

It started small, like shaking of things when she's angry then went to smashing of lightbulbs and floating of random objects when she's frustrated.

It overjoyed her but the town's people seems to despise the happiness of such child. So, she grew distant, emotionless, cold and calcuated that it took no less that a week for people to invade a seven- year old's mind with insults.

In her town, difference means abnormal, a ridiculous perception of people with shit for brains. That's what Eurus thought. They hated her and so did she.

Then, the whole "she's going to be a murderer someday" speech started. Oddly enough, Eurus likes it. Not because she has plans to be a murderer, but she just loves how people tried very hard to see her break, which never happened.

You see, people love reactions. They craved for it. So, if one didn't show any effect, they will grow more impatient and continue to push them down.

This became the case for Eurus as she learned from years of judgmental training with the head matron of the orphanage that people were kinder and more willing to affiliate with those who acted as if they knew less.

She endured it for years with people judging each and every move that she makes. The reason on why they hated her seems to have a connection with her mother.

On one rainy night of August 31st, 1927, a woman with dark hair and eyes, who's no older than 25 came knocking in the old huge doors of the orphanage.

Little was known about this woman, except that she's bloody and in labor. The matron, Edith von Schell, accepted her in and deliver the baby to safety. But "safety" was never the word for it. As soon as Eurus was born, her mother died and just had enough time to name her.

The next thing, Helene caught on a mysterious fire, burning the small town and killing the people, her mother was along with those who burned to death. This led to the people to believe that she's cursed and despised her for something that she never had knowledge of.

Nothing happened after that on the dingy old town, except when a tall bearded man with fancy yet odd clothing came to Helene to talk to Eurus. On that very day of August 1942, Eurus found out the secrets that lied beneath her very name.

He explained to her about her heritage and everything he knew about the family. And apparently, a dark wizard hunting her down.
A school for people like her was introduced. Though she knows the dangers of the new world, she accepted to go due to the mere curiosity.

A life waiting for her is never the one she expected. A puzzle created another riddle to occupy her mind and in this world, she'll be torn apart with the truth and the lies about her true heritage.
