Eurus Novak always thinks that mindful presence is a first step to a great mind. She provides precisely what others think they don't have, an education in improving the faculty of mindful thought and using it in order to accomplish more, think better, and decide more optimally. In its broadest application, it means improving overall decision making and judgment ability, starting from the most basic building block of our own mind.

For example, when Eurus asked Estella last night about how many paintings there were during their way to the common room, she laughed. But to Eurus, it was something. She believed that they were absorbing countless of elements and information, unthinkingly as it never necessarily processed what the importance of it could be.

So, at twelve midnight and on her way to her first Astronomy class, she groggily counted each and every painting out of boredom and curiosity. Beneath her long and black Ravenclaw robes is her pajamas while she paired it with her black shoes so she can at least look formal and not someone who just sprung out of bed, which she did.

When she's near the Astronomy Tower, she straightened her robes and folded her pajamas that was showing and clipped it with a few hair pins. With a tired sigh, she entered the class' view, making everyone to turn their heads to her. She's late for a second time that day.

Their Astronomy professor, Averille Parris is a tall woman in her early 30s. she stood straight and stern but her face shows welcoming warmth and excitement despite the ungodly hour.

"May I ask why you're 15 minutes late for today's class, Ms. Novak?" She turned around with her raised thin high arched eyebrows that looks good on her. And yes, Eurus took her time that long because of the fact thet she doesn't really have any intention to get into class.

"Probably not the best idea." She muttered, only for Malfoy to hear, who covered his chuckle with a cough.

"What is it, Ms.?" Professor Parris asked, sternly and more serious this time.

Eurus raised her head and held a confident-disappointed look. "I was wondering down the halls as my intention is to get in class in time, Ma'am, but the paintings kept yelling profanities at me because of the light, so I asked this one friendly ghost to point out where the Astronomy class was and he pointed the other direction. I am terribly sorry for trusting, Ma'am." Her voice held sarcasm and fake disappointment but it was convincing enough for Professor Parris who thinks it was Peeves.

In fact, there was no ghost, just a bored and tired Eurus who purposely did it.

Parris let her slide, so she sat beside Malfoy who was rather shocked by such bold action. Estella was on the other side, sitting with her Ravenclaw friend, Rebecca Dane, gave her a questioning look. She gave her an innocent shrug and turned to Tom Riddle, three seats in front of her.

He looked at Eurus with a blank look before hiding his grin when she crossed her legs, revealing her folded pajama and shiny black shoes, which is totally unmatched.

"You're late and now, you're breaking the school's dress code?" Abraxas Malfoy, a tall and pale young man with icy grey eyes asked her.

Eurus tilted her head to the side and looked at him. "It's midnight and no one's really gonna check me out." She started before smirking at him. "Well, I didn't expect anyone until now."

Abraxas' cheeks instantly flushed at how smooth her voice is when she flirted. It's like she's getting everyone's attention and trust with her smooth, silky voice and diplomatic speeches. In some way, Abraxas saw similarities between Eurus and his Lord, Tom Riddle.
