THE LAST FEW WEEKS WERE SOME OF THE BEST IN CASSIOPEIA'S LIFE

THE LAST FEW WEEKS WERE SOME OF THE BEST IN CASSIOPEIA'S LIFE. She and Ron's relationship was better than ever. She felt as if she was on cloud nine everyday. They had been sneaking off more often, usually to the Astronomy Tower but unused classrooms and broom closets were a close second. Sometimes they kissed and made out but other times they sat there, talking. Ron was a very good listener, which Cassiopeia was grateful for. It was nice to have someone to vent to every so often.

Ron had also been more affectionate in the last month. Every time he saw Cassiopeia, he smiled at her or sent her a wink. He always greeted her with a kiss on the forehead when he showed up to their tutor lessons. He even figured out a way, probably with Hermione's help, to send her notes without anyone reading them. He had placed a charm on a sheet of parchment where only he and Cassiopeia could read what was written on it.

Cassiopeia enjoyed this side of Ron. She loved the way that he always wanted to be near her or spend time with her. She also noticed that Ron became a bit more touchy than before. He would hold her hand under the table in the library during their tutor sessions or would purposefully brush arms with her in the halls. He always seemed to have his skin connect with her in some way. Cassiopeia found it a bit uncomfortable at first but she soon warmed up to it. She liked the feeling of Ron.

Sometimes, Harry and Hermione would join their tutor lessons. Hermione had insisted that they could all learn from Cassiopeia so, on some days, Harry and Hermione sat across from the pair. Cassiopeia would start to explain some things about Astronomy and Hermione would hang onto her every word. She would scribble down notes and ask questions frequently. Cassiopeia thought it was funny that Hermione was treating her like a teacher.

Today was one of those days. Cassiopeia was busy explaining the orbit of Neptune and Hermione was practically writing down every word she said. Harry, on other the hand, looked boringly out of the window and was obviously wishing that he was anywhere else in the castle. Not that he had anything against Cassiopeia anymore, but he wasn't really into Astronomy. Plus, he didn't need to study since he was excused from all the final exams this year from being a Triwizard Champion.

Ron was sitting next to her. He had looped their ankles together and had his hand resting on her leg. Cassiopeia felt the butterflies flutter in her stomach as Ron traced small circles on her knee. A smile tugged at the sides of her lips and she glanced at him. He didn't seem like he was paying attention to her. He was staring at Cassiopeia as if she was the prettiest thing in the world. As if she was all the stars in the sky.

Ron realized that Cassiopeia had caught him and quickly shifted his attention back to his textbook, not making any effort to move his hand away. Cassiopeia smirked at him and returned her attention back to Hermione, continuing to list off things about Neptune's orbit, "It takes Neptune one hundred and sixty-five years to complete one orbit. Every two hundred and forty-eight years, Pluto enters Neptune's orbit for about twenty years or so. That will make it closer to the sun than Neptune."
