Y'all want me?

CHAPTER 24

*Emily's POV

As I watch my family slowly trickle into the dining room for breakfast I can't help but think about my oldest brothers and their new lover. They do seem so happy but I just don't want them getting hurt again. Eliza seems nice enough but I'm just scared that she will be like Rose, sweet on the outside and nasty on the inside. That woman was only after their money and the freedom it provided. I knew something was off about her from the moment I met her and it turned out to be true, so now I am extra cautious where their lovers are concerned. Eliza is the first woman who has been on a family vacation since Rose and the whole family has almost instantly formed a bond with her, which is completely different than it was with Rose. I am taking that into consideration and trying to give her a fair chance to be genuine and truly wanting to be with the boys because she loves them and not because she wants their wealth. I see them getting off the elevator and smile in their direction and notice something that is changing my view on Eliza. As they get off the elevator she takes both of their hands and brings them up one at a time to gently kiss and holds on tight as they walk towards us. That is something their previous person would have never done. Such a simple, loving gesture. I know She will be good for them and them for her. I can't wait to see their family grow and I know that I will allow myself to get close to her and hopefully she will feel free to do so with me as well.

*Elizas POV

I can't believe I am here, not only in Hawaii but also with my men meeting their family. It has been an amazing several months with them and I hope we have many more years of love and joy. I grab their hands and take a deep breath as we get out of the elevator. I'm excited to really get to know the family and I just hope they understand that I truly do love their boys and want to make them as happy as they have made me.
We walk over to where everyone was sitting, waiting to order breakfast and I end up sitting across from Emily and Essie. I gave them both a smile and was surprised when Emily returned mine with a true smile of her own. Last night she was pretty harsh with some of the things she said and asked, but I know she is just concerned for her family and rightfully so.
"Did you three sleep well?" She asked as we sat down, causing me to blush bright red and the boys to chuckle.
"Yes we did with what little sleep we did get" Nick said with a wink as he threw his arm around my shoulders. I just shook my head at him and blushed even more if that was possible. His comment earned chuckles, smirks and knowing looks from the other couples at the table.
"So what are the plans for today?"
"Can we go swimming?"
"I wanna go look at the fishies"
"Nooo, I want to go surfing."
"No, let's go see a volcano"
"But I want to go shopping"
The table was a loud roar of voices as all the kids and teens put in their questions or remarks for the days events. I smiled at their faces as they snickered back and forth until we hear a voice at the head of the table and all turn to listen.
"Everyone quiet. We will get to do everything that you want, we will be here for two weeks after all. So for now I want us to enjoy pur breakfast and we will start this vacation right with a trip to the beach complete with a picnic lunch and then finish the day off with a nice supper and drinks for the adults after we put the kids to bed" Lincs dad,Russell, took charge of the days events and everyone listened without question. It didn't matter if the children belonged to Lincs Parents or Nicks parents because at the end of the day this was one family and they all respected both Dads as their own. Seeing this made me smile even more realizing that our littles would do the same with Linc and Nick and that made my heart content and joyful just thinking about it.

*Later thay day*

"Ok Essie, I am all swimmed out for the day" I chuckle as I tug a pouting Essie out of the water and find a nice spot to rest under one of our massive beach umbrellas. We had littles in the water with parents or older siblings, some of the older kids and adults were playing volleyball and some were sunbathing or reading. I could feel my stomach starting to rumble and I knew I needed to get something in my system before I got sick. I reached into one of the icechests, found nice cold grapes and plopped down next to the pouting Essie and handed her a grape as a peace offering for dragging her out of the water. She smiled at me and said "I guess I forgive you,  I know you have a baby in your belly and you are probably sleepy. Do you think you are going to have a boy or girl?" She questions, swimming obviously forgotten. "Honestly I would love twins, one boy and one girl, but it is still too early to tell. Would you want a niece or nephew?" I ask as I pop another grape in my mouth and smile at my little sidekick. 
"I want another girl, so we can swim together" she says having remembered that she wanted to swim more. I just smile and hand her another grape as I see Emily walking in our direction.
"You two had the same idea as me, that water is making me hungry, mind if I share those grapes with y'all?" She asks as she sits down. I smile and nod as I hand her the bag after taking a few more for me and Essie.
"Emily can I ask you a question?" I turn to her with hopeful eyes.
"Yes you definitely can" she returns my smile and I take a deep breath before spouting out "Why don't you like me? I'm sorry I know that sounded mean, I just need to understand what I did. I do not want any tension between us and I do hope that we can grow close eventually."
"Oh no, I do like you. I just saw what Rose did to my brothers and how they didn't seem to let a woman get to close to them after that and I didn't want to see them hurt. I have watched you all day with the kids especially Essie and seen how good you are with them. I watched as you caressed my brothers and made sure that neither of them felt left out or rejected. I have watched you laugh with our mothers and tell dad jokes with our dad's. I know that this is only the second day of knowing you but I can already tell that you are going to be an important person in not only my brothers lives but mine as well. I am sorry for making you feel that I didn't like you. I do so hope we can be friends, sisters even." She smiles as she says that last part and I can't help the tears that are running down my face, so I just pull her into a warm embrace with a almost silent thank you on my lips. Nick must have seen me crying because next thing I know he is running up here ready to tell at his sister until he sees us hugging. We both laugh at him and realize that Essie is clinging to us as well.
"It's ok hunny, we were just having us a nice girl talk and you know I can't seem to make the tears stop these days" I chuckle and shew him away and back to his waiting team at the volleyball net. Oh what a beautiful family I have.

Ok lovelies, I know I am throwing quite a few chapters up quickly but I'm trying to write as the ideas are coming to me lol. How did you like getting a glimpse into Emily's perspective?
