Y'all want me?

CHAPTER 21

Elizas POV
After 3 layovers and hours on a plane or in an airport, we are finally headed the the resort to meet the family.  I am exhausted and getting more nervous by the minute.  Suddenly I feel a hand grab mine as Linc whispers in my ear "they are going to love you, rest now my love".
We were supposed to all fly together but the rest of the family ended up coming a couple days earlier then us because we had a meeting we couldn't reschedule. The resort is about 30 minutes away from the airport so I have a few minutes to rest before I meet everyone. I lay my head on Lincs shoulder and doze off quickly.

Lincs POV.

I feel babygirl relax against me as she falls asleep, giving me and Nick a few minutes to talk.
"Did you bring it?" I say as I turn to Nick.
"You know I did. Are you getting anxious" He says with a chuckle. I don't understand how he can be so calm about it. These next two weeks are going to dictate how the rest of our lives will go. I know I need to relax and just have fun with our family and our girl, but my mind is filled with so many questions and possibilities.
I see the resort come in to view so I wake up our love.
"Hey babygirl, you have to get up. It's time to meet everyone" I smile and say as Nick kisses her awake.
As we get out I hear her gasp at the beauty that is Hawaii. Before we can even get the door closed, we hear screams and screeching from our sisters as they run to meet us at the car. We are pulled into big hugs and then pushed aside as they see Eliza hiding slightly behind us. She can be so confident and yet so timid. "Girls be nice" I say as I'm pushed out of the way. "Oh big brother have faith, we will be as long as she's true to who you say she is" Emily says with a glare. This is going to be an interesting two weeks.

3 hours later....

This has been such an amazing  few hours with lots of questions, answers and laughter mixed with a few tears.  I loved seeing Elizas expression when she realized that most of our family have spouses that share. We only have one brother who doesn't share. But he never shared anything well and he loves his wife and would never want to share her. I chuckle as I think back to the conversation I had with him many years ago about why me and Nick wanted to share. He was so confused but loved us anyway. I get back to the present and look around the room with all the couples and children sitting our playing. We have an amazing family and I wouldn't change it for the world. Everyone seems to be getting along with Eliza and true to what Nick said, his little sister loved her already. I see Nick  staring at Eliza with love as she cuddles with Essie and i know he is picturing oir children sitting in her lap.
"So Eliza how do we know that you are not in it for the money?" Emily spouts out. She is the forever Debbie downer in the family and she is overly protective of me and Nick. I see Eliza smile and pull Essie closer as she answers the question.
" I could care less if they had money or not. You have heard our story, I just moved to Nashville for a better career opportunity for me to be able to take care of my Mom and brothers. Linc and Nicks love and caring completely struck me by surprise and whether they have five dollars or five million dollars, it's their love and support that draws me to them and makes me love them." She looks at me and Nick and you can tell she wants to tell our secret. I smile and not my head at the same time as Nick.  She smiles as she keeps going.
"When I first met them, I knew they were different but I didn't realize just how different they were. I never thought I would settle down and have a love like this especially with having not one man that loves me but two. They respect me, depend on me, and love me. They want to have me and my weirdness in their lives forever as do I them. And they are going to be the best dad's to our little one when he or she is born." She smiles and touches her belly. Emily looks at her almost speechless and Essie screeches when her young mind realizes that Eliza just basically said she was pregnant.
"wait, I'm going to be an aunt again. This is so exciting. I love you so much" as she hugs Eliza tight. That little 10 year old is more sensitive and sincere than most adults. Eliza hugs her tight and I can tell that she already loves her too. She is going to make one amazing mama. Me and Nick are sitting next to her and both chuckle as another round of questions are shot at us.
"Do you know the gender yet"
"How long have you known"
"Why didn't you tell us"
"You both are going to make such great dads"
We answer them in no particular order and are being pulled into hugs and handshakes quicker than we can think.

"I think you are going to be a great mama from what I can tell and you make an amazing partner to our boys. " I hear my mama say as she pulls Eliza into a hug. I see Eliza start to cry and hug her tight. I know they will have a great relationship. Both are sensitive and care about others almost more than themselves.

I can see the shock on Elizas face as she is pulled into embrace after embrace. She is crying and smiling all at the same time and I know in that moment we couldn't have chosen better for our forever person.

Nicks POV...

After all the hugs and handshakes stopped we all sat back down and Essie plopped herself back into Elizas lap. I can tell that we are not going to get much time with our girl if Essie has anything to do with it. This has been a fantastic evening but I am ready to have our girl to ourselves again. I pull Essie off of her and give my baby sister a giant hug before plopping her down onto Moms lap and telling everyone that it is time for us to head to bed. "It has been a long day with a lot of flights and we all need sleep because tomorrow really starts the fun. So goodnight, we love you and will see y'all all in the morning" I say with a chuckle as I hear everyone protesting but I see the tiredness of our girl and I am exhausted. The only thing I want to do is crawl into bed and curl around Eliza and slip into a good night's sleep. We finally make it up to our room and get settled in for the night. Eliza cuddles closer into me and starts kissing my neck. As exhausted as we are I can tell we aren't going to sleep for a while. I feel her moan as I caress her breasts and Linc starts nipping at her neck and down her back. This is a perfect ending to a great day.
