Y'all want me?

Chapter 3

Eliza's POV

Its been a week since I saw gorgeous 1 and 2 and I still can't get their smiling faces out of my head. I try to focus on my job and home life but nothing seems to be working. I finally call Anna, one of my best friends and one of the only two friends I actually have and trust. When she comes over she has Sally with her and they just pull me into a hug because they can tell something is up. I smile at their goofy looks and tell them I'm alright but that I just have a lot on my mind. Sally looks at me and says "Spill". So I do. I tell them all about those guys that have been on my mind so much and they chuckle and relax knowing its not something more serious then a silly crush. Anna says "Hey girls why don't we go to the Pecan Festival in Colfax this weekend? Its only 2 hours away and we can stay in a hotel for the weekend." "That's a great idea girls if I had the money to be spending on a weekend away" I reply. "Well what if I cover the cost for you and me? Anna can cover herself. he he"  Sally says and I can't help but hug her and thank her because that is exactly what I need. "Ok I'll call my boss and see if I can take a vacation day and get the weekend off" I tell them and they both squeal like little girls and I can't help but laugh at their silliness.

I love these girls so much. They never make me feel like the odd ball in the group even though I know I am. See they both command attention wherever we go where as I am always the wall flower. They know how to have a good time and guys seem to flock to their sides. I love to see how outgoing they both are and I just know they are going to be like little kids at the fair.

"Eliza Eliza Eliza" they both yell.
"Huh, what did you say?" I say.
They both laugh at me and say together "girl you zoned out on us for a second there hehehe". "Oh I'm sorry y'all I was thinking about how awesome my two best friends are" I say with a wide toothed grin.
"Ok girls let's get our weekend planned"Anna says as she finds the Doritos in my cabinet and starts munching. That girl would eat me out of house and home if I let her and yet she doesn't gain an ounce. So not fair.

Lincolns POV

"Nick this is driving me crazy. We have got to go get our girl". I say as I pace around our office while Nicolai finishes the last few details of the employment agreement we will present to Eliza when we offer her the position. "Did you add in the information about the business trips and the extra stuff?" I ask him. He looks at me and says "yes I am adding a lot of different things to this agreement. We will make the wording a little different in her copy and hopefully she will sign the main copy without reading it to much. I am adding a few extra curricular activities that hopefully she will enjoy as much as we do when we reveal our true intentions". I just nod my head and go back to my pacing until Nick finally walks over to me and grabs my arm. "Dude you have got to stop stressing. She will accept, we will make the deal too good to pass up". Nick says as I take a deep breath. I tell him I'll see him back at the house and leave to go back and get ready for the flight back to Louisiana. I have never been this much of a worrier but not having Eliza in my arms is putting a strain on me I have never felt before. I will be so glad when I can grab her into my arms and own her lips, her curves and her heart.

Nicks POV

Being on a plane for 3 hours leaves too much time to think. I can't help but continue to think about what Lincoln asked me yesterday while I was writing up the agreement "what if she doesn't accept?". She's just got to, because I want her, every part of her. I want to see her fully nude, touch her skin, taste her lips, learn all I can about her. I want to learn about her past, be apart of her present and love her into her future. I am hopeful that with the right persuasion she will be at the very least working in our office by the beginning of December. Its November 2nd so that gives us a month to find her a house and make sure she has the money to move either by herself or with her family which ever she is more comfortable with. So much to do and so little time. Days like this I'm glad we are not hurting for money and we can contract a lot of our needs out.
"Lincoln can you call our Realtor and see if she has any homes available around our Nashville estate?" I ask him as we start to land in Baton Rouge.
"Already on it Nick and I have a moving company just waiting on us to give them the thumbs up to go. I also have a Chevy Traverse in the process of being decked out with all the extras. Everything will be ready as soon as Eliza says yes". Lincoln says and I can't help but smile at him because he is such a go getter especially when it is something he desires.

Lincolns POV

...The next day....

I can't help myself from wandering around the store looking for a certain long haired beauty.

I couldn't find her anywhere so I went into the office where Nick was finishing up with all the contract paperwork with Mr.Smith.
"

Mr.Smith is Eliza here today?" I ask him when I step in the office. "No she took 2 vacation days to go to the Pecan festival with her two friends. The festival is in Colfax which is about two hours north of here. It runs from tomorrow to Sunday but they wanted a chance to pack and things before their drive up ". He replies and I thank him for the information.
"Mr.Smith we need to be completely honest with you. We are interested in hiring Ms.Thompson as our personal assistant. I'm sure you would hate to lose her but we have been looking for someone who is not only trustworthy but also a hard worker and we see both of those traits in her. Do you know if she would be willing to relocate and accept the position?" Nick asks him. To which he replies " Yes I would hate to lose her. She is the best Produce manager that I have had in over five years but I would never try to hold her back from something better and I can tell this would be great for her. The best way to get her to accept is to include her family into it. Her mama and her nephews are her world and she would not leave without them. So if they can relocate with her I'm sure she would accept."
"That is perfect. I do believe we need to go check out that Festival. Thank you for your help Mr.Smith and we will see you Monday." I say as we leave his office. 

"Ok do we want to go ahead and drive that way or leave in the morning?" I ask Nick as we get into the Silverado. "I say we find a place to eat then head to the hotel. We can leave in the morning since its only a two hour drive up" he replies and I agree.

...later that evening...

As we walked into this local restaurant that was nothing more then a hole in the wall I heard a beautiful voice coming from the small stage in the corner. It was karaoke night at the place and I couldn't help but be drawn to the voice and to my shock and amazement Eliza was the one with the beautiful raspy pure country voice. She was singing a song called "Dancing in the Sky" and you could clearly see that the song meant something to her.

I just stood there in aww and as I turned I realized that Nick was as well. I can't believe our Girl has a voice like that. So amazing.
