As Hyunjin was waking up, the first thing he took notice of was crying coming from right next to him. Confused, he quickly sat up and looked up, immediately noticing the younger boy who was standing next to his bed. Jeongin was wrapped up in a blanket and was holding on to a stuffed animal so tightly it almost looked painful while rubbing his eyes with his free hand as he sobbed his little heart out.
Just at the sight Hyunjin could feel his heart break. He stood up and brought the youngest member into a comforting hug. He didn't know what had happened, but he immediately knew why the male was acting this way. A few months ago, Jeongin had come clean to the members about his little space and explained that it was a comforting thing to him he used it to help when he was stressed or anxious. He had explained that he slipped pretty young, but only rarely fell into baby space. Although, he was still very shy about his regression and had only slipped in front of the other members once.
"Jeongin, what happened?" The older male asked. He waited for a few minutes, them still wrapped up in their hug, but didn't get a response just more sobbing. Sighing, Hyunjin moved so that they both were sitting down on the bed, Jeongin now sitting comfortably in the older's lap.
They stayed like that for a while before Jeongin finally spoke up, "little" was all he said. It wasn't much but, it confirmed what Hyunjin already knew.
Hyunjin just smiled, "thank you for telling me, baby. That was so brave of you!" He tried to say it with some enthusiasm to help the little feel a little better, but he got no such reaction, just jeongin trying to curl farther up against Hyunjin's
chest.
At this point Hyunjin wasn't quite sure what to do. He wanted to try and help Jeongin feel better, but the older male had very little experience taking care of a little. Even the one time Jeongin had been little around the other members, he was just energetic and playful and didn't really need to taken care of, especially since the other members were there as well. Now he is here by himself with little Jeongin and while he contemplated going wake up one of the older members, he decided he could, and he wanted to, figure out how to take care of him on his own.
     Since he figured he wasn't really going to get a response out of the younger boy anyways, he decided to just keep quiet and hold him until he calmed down some, which eventually he did.
     After around 1o minutes Hyunjin could hear his cries quieting down until he was just barely sniffling. Finally, the little raised his head from where it had been resting against Hyunjin's chest and looked up at the older male. He didn't say anything, but reached his hands up and began rubbing his already red eyes, which were probably feeling itchy from all of the crying the poor boy had done.
     Hyunjin reached up to pull the younger boy's hands from his face, "no, no, baby. You're going to hurt your eyes if you keep doing that," he said while bringing the little's hands to hold in his. At this Jeongin just whined in protest.
"How old are you feeling, baby?" Hyunjin asked softly as he used his free hand to brush some of the stray hairs from the little's face. Jeongin just shook his head as tears began forming in his eyes again and moved to put his face back in it's previous position against Hyunjin.
     "No, baby, no more of that," the older boy said at he pulled Jeongin back up to look at him. "I want to help you feel better, but you need to tell me what's wrong sweetie."
     Jeongin looked down shyly and whined again in response. He woke up feeling so little, barely being able to get up and go to the older boy in the first place. It wasn't often he slipped into baby space, but now that he was he was confused and frustrated at not being able to say how he felt.
     "ba-ba-baby," Jeongin managed to finally stutter out, hoping that that's all it would take for the older to understand what he meant. Fortunately for him it did. Realization fell over Hyunjin. He had remembered Jeongin telling them about how he slipped into baby space once before and kind of what to expect if it happened.
     Smiling Hyunjin gave Jeongin a few soft kisses on each of his cheeks. "Aww, is my baby feeling really small today?" he cooed as he continued to kiss all over the now quietly giggling little. Jeongin just nodded in response as he reached up to grabbed Hyunjin's cheek and give it a soft squish as he giggled even more. Hyunjin smiled and chuckled at the adorable little as gave his a soft kiss on the hand now touching his face.
     "Where is your little gear stashed, baby?" Hyunjin asked the little, realizing that they would need a few things if Jeongin was feeling this small. At this, Jeongin quieted down again and looked away, still slightly embarrassed since he hadn't been with the members while this small before.
     Hyunjin gave him another kiss on his forehead and smiled at him in encouragement. "It's okay, baby boy. I just need to make sure you're all taken care of when small. You don't need to by shy."
     Reluctantly, Jeongin pointed his finger to his closet. Nodding and praising the younger boy, hyunjin slowly moved the little off of his lap so that he could go get the things that the would need. With the change in positions, Jeongin began whining in protest but Hyunjin was quick to softly hush the little and let him know that he'll be right back.
     After grabbing the things he needed, Hyunjin was able to, with much complaint and protest form the little, put a diaper on him so that there would be no accidents. It didn't take long, but now that they were both laying in Hyunjins bed, Jeongin had fallen back asleep quite tired from all of the crying.
     Hyunjin looked down at the little who looked so adorable softly snoring as he gently sucked on the pacifier that Hyunjin had found with the rest of his little gear. He could just feel his heart swell with the amount of love he felt for the younger member who had always felt like a younger brother to him. Hyunjin gave him another soft kiss, as to not accidentally awaken the baby, on his forehead as he curled up against him and eventually fell back asleep, too.
