The Power of Determination (Female Frisk and Chara x Male Reader) (ON HOLD)

Sickly Sight

(A/N: I'm so sorry this took so long. I had to rewrite this chapter a few times because I didn't like how it turned out)

You were watching the other kids play with each other. You were only in elementary school and even then, you had no friends. For some reason, the other kids just didn't like you at all. You sat from afar and watched them play in envy. That's when something unexpected happened: a girl in a blue sweater with a purple stripe sat down next to you.

Girl: Hi! I'm Frisk! What's your name?

You: ...(Y/N).

Frisk: Why are you sitting so far away from the other kids? Don't you want to play with them?

You: They don't like me. They won't let me play with them. I don't even have friends. Nobody wants to be my friend.

Frisk gives a frown before it changes to a smile.

Frisk: Then I'll be your friend!

You: R-Really? You'll be my friend just like that?

Frisk: Yup! You seem the type of person that's just fun to be around in general.

You: Frisk...thank you. This means a lot to me.

You wake up groggily and glance around the bedroom. Upon trying to get up, you fail and slump back into the bed. You just feel awful today and don't have any energy for today. Groaning to yourself, you twist and turn in the bed, trying to get back to sleep. Frisk walks into the room, humming to herself and notices you.

Frisk: Good morning, babe! Why are you still in bed, silly?

You: I feel sick, Frisk...

Frisk lets out a quiet gasp before rushing over to your side and grabbing your hand.

Frisk: You poor thing! Do you want me to take care of you?

You give her a weak smile.

You: Yep.

Frisk: Ok! I'll be right back! I'll fix you something to eat.

She gives you a quick peck on the forehead before heading downstairs. Eventually, you manage to fall asleep again.

Frisk steps into the room holding soup she made for you and sees you sleeping.

She walks over to you and nudges you, causing you to wake up.

Frisk: I made you some soup so you can feel better.

You: I'm so lucky to have you, Frisk.

Frisk gives you one of her precious smiles.

Frisk: Here, I'll feed you!

Frisk then proceeded to feed you the soup until all of it was resting in your stomach. Afterwards, she puts the bowl down on a drawer and then climbs into bed with you, snuggling up close to you.

You: F-Frisk, I'm going to get you sick if you lay this close to me...

Frisk: A sickness isn't going to stop me from cuddling with my boyfriend.

You only sigh as you wrap your arms around Frisk, pulling her closer to you as you drift back into dreamland.

Flowey was sitting in the king's garden, pondering to himself. He was mostly terrified right now as he didn't know what Chara was going to do now. He never could predict her, even when they were alive. She surprises him every time after all.

He was also torn if he should continue to help Chara. His mind kept wandering to Frisk trying to save him when he absorbed every soul in the Underground. She was able to bring him out of his homicidal soulless flower form and comfort him, even if it was just for a little while.

Flowey knew if he continued to help Chara, the human race would fall, maybe even monsters too. Flowey only gulped when he remembered the last time he defied Chara. It ended with him being sliced to pieces.

Finally, Flowey thought about you. He could clearly see that you and Frisk immensely cared for each other. It reminded him how much he cared about not only Chara, but every monster in the Underground. He could also see that you were both in love with each other. Flowey grimaced in envy as you were able feel love while he has to sit here and only imagine what's like to feel love again.

Either way, Flowey had a choice and he had to make that choice on which side he wants to be on fast.
