TAYLOR'S POV:
Blake screamed as he saw Adrielle's neck get snapped.
Her body fell to the floor and it took all of my strength to get Blake not to run to her.
"Just let me go!" He tried to tug away.
"Taylor just let me go!" He cried out, breaking my heart more and more.
"Let me-"
"Please just-"
He stopped finishing his sentences and slowly his body started to shut down.
My attempts to move him were slowly working, so I tried to run with his arm in my hands.
He ran with me, but I knew he was going to completely break down soon. If not him, then I definitely was.
I pulled him into an alley and took as many turns as I could.
I stopped abruptly when he collapsed to his knees in sobs.
"She's gone. She's really gone." I could tell he could barely breathe.
I kneeled down in front of him, grabbing his hands and holding them in mine.
He shook his hands away and planted them on the ground, balling them into fists after he did so.
His head was down, looking at the floor.
My tears mimicked his, falling onto the concrete.
I couldn't take the hurt anymore so I pulled him into my arms, trying to comfort him the best I possibly could.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and continued to cry, his body becoming more tense.
I only cried softly, not wanting him to worry anymore than he was.
I couldn't imagine the pain he was going through in such a short time span.
And Liv. She was really dead.
"This is all my fault. I killed them." He finally spoke, his voice cracking, and with sobs in between each word.
"Don't." I squeezed him tighter.
"This is not your fault." I continued.
His entire body was shaking.
I moved my hand to his hair and slowly put my hands through it in a shitty attempt to calm him.
I'd always wanted to touch his hair.
But I never knew it would be in this circumstance.
His breathing eventually got slower, and his cries got quieter.
"Taylor."
"Yeah?" I replied to his broken voice.
"I'm gonna kill him." His cries picked up again.
I silently begged him to stop crying. I couldn't bare to see him like this.
Once he calmed himself down again he moved out of my arms and continued to look down.
His hands were in fists again, and his body was trembling, but not in the same way as before.
I gritted my teeth.
Anger.
He refused to look at me as he stood up.
I watched as he started to walk away from me, to which I stood up.
"Blake."
He stopped in his tracks but still didn't look at me.
"If you're going to do this." I swallowed everything inside me telling me not to go through with this. The goody two shoes inside of me.
"Then I want you to fully go through with it. Kill him. No hesitation. He deserves it." I spoke without confidence, almost scared of myself.
He finally turned to me, finally revealing his face.
I stepped closer to him.
"And another thing." I continued, trying to stop my tears.
"I'm going with you." My anger level kept rising the more I thought about the leader.
The more I thought about Liv's death.
The more I thought about Adrielle's death.
I wrapped my arms around Blake's neck, not knowing if it would be the last time I could do so.
"Snow." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist tightly.
"Please don't leave me." His head moved to rest on my shoulder.
"I won't." I promised.
I knew for a fact I wouldn't be able to bring myself to break that promise.
We broke apart from the hug and we started to move back to where we were.
I was silently wishing Kendron was gone. That everything was over.
But when I saw his figure in the distance I braced myself for the worst.
"Back for more hm? You want me to kill Taylor too?" He smiled.
"You won't even get the chance." Blake sneered as we continued to walk closer to the figure.
Adrielle's body came into view and i swallowed, trying not to look at the scene.
Blake stopped himself from looking as well by focusing all his anger on Kendron.
He swiftly brought shadows to his fists faster than he ever had before.
He then smirked, his teeth showing.
I smiled at him and looked back at Kendron, who looked bored.
"You underestimate me." Blake spoke.
"I know you won't be able to beat me. You're not good enough." Kendron laughed loudly.
"Oh yeah?" Blake replied as he raised his eyebrows.
He threw his hand forward and the shadow covered Kendron's eyes.
Kendron was taken aback, obviously not realizing how serious Blake actually was.
Blake then ran up to him and punched him straight in the face, continuously throwing shadows onto him, which pushed him around.
Suddenly though, he was thrown back.
His body rolled on the ground a couple times, but he quickly got up again.
He looked at me and told me not to move, but I wasn't gonna listen.
I ran up to Kendron, and Blake got an idea.
While i was distracting him, Blake teleported behind and kicked him forward into me, where I punched him back.
Some debris was thrown at us by Kendron's power, so we had to dodge it.
Kendron was more powerful than I thought though. His power allowed him to keep levitating things, with what looks to be no drawbacks.
I gradually got more and more nervous as the fight went on. We got thrown into walls and to the ground more times than I thought I could ever handle.
My adrenaline was through the roof. I was barely feeling any pain.
Blake was completely enraged. I doubt he felt anything but anger in this moment.
I briefly screamed and sound waves went straight for Kendron.
He stumbled back but threw me again.
I couldn't help but not understand what was going on.
I thought he couldn't use his power unless he could see us? Blake was covering his vision the entire time.
