"Remind me why I'm helping you." I groaned.
I had met up with Sabrina and we started trying to figure out what her power is, but she won't shut up about how good of a fighter she is.
"Because I can get you expelled." She smiled. I groaned again and continued to help her.
"Just try to clear your mind and be patient." I told her. She nodded and closed he eyes.
I tried to give her vague information, as I didn't know how big, or small her power actually was. I wouldn't say I was scared. I was definitely nervous. I mean what if she destroyed the world?
But a part of me knew that wouldn't happen. A part of me knew she wasn't as special as she said she was.
I looked at her deep in thought. "Keep calm." I yelled out.
She took a deep breath and let it out. She was in a fighting stance, her eyes still closed.
"Okay. Let's try punching into the air." I said. She nodded, and moved her fist forward.
Nothing happened. "Maybe try lifting yourself into the air?" I suggested.
We tried everything. From telekinesis to touching things and they turn to dust.
I thought of everything I could. Nothing worked.
I felt kinda bad for her. She was desperate enough to ask Lucas for help, and he recommended me. She still did it though, no matter how much she hated me.
And if it did turn out that she's powerless, that would mean her mom had been lying to her, her entire life.
She was breathless, her hands on her knees taking deep breathes. I gave her some water and we both agreed to meet up tomorrow as well.
I stumbled back to my dorm and quickly fell asleep while listening to music.

THE NEXT MORNING:
I woke up and sighed. I rubbed my eyes and rolled out of bed, my body aching.
I went into my closet and got a crop top and a plaid, black and white skirt.
I went into the bathroom, changed, and put my hair in a messy bun. I put some concealer and foundation on, along with eyeliner and mascara.
I grabbed a baggy jacket on the way our the door and waited outside for Aura to finish getting ready.
She walked out the door with a cute flower crop top, with baggy jeans and a light jacket.
"Math is first right?" Aura asked. I nodded and we started walking to math.
Once we got there we sat close to Lucas and joked around. He was really cheerful today. More than normal I'd say.
After the bell rang I started heading toward fighting class. I went into the locker room, changed, and then changed the color of my suit to black.
I caught a glance at Blake as he was walking in. His hair was messed up, and it looked like he hadn't slept.
I sighed and we lined up. I tried to get close to Blake. "You alright?" I asked him quickly. He nodded, and I turned back to the teacher.
We got paired together again. They pair people with the same skill level, meaning I will always be paired with Blake.
It sucks but I get some good practice in. He's a very talented fighter. I still wonder where he learned.
We went towards the mat, and he looked at the ground. I raised my eyebrows and got in a fighting stance. He followed, breathing in and shaking his head.
The buzzer rang and we ran at each other. He grabbed my arm and twisted it. He pulled on it anf flipped me onto my back. I grunted and wrapped my legs around his. He fell to the ground and I shot up.
He got up before I could hold him down though. I tried punching him but he dodged it.
I tried again, and landed a hit on his chest. He backed away and put his fists up. I ran to him and kicked him.
He stumbled backward and I furrowed my eyebrows. He's off his game. Usually he would grab my leg but this time-
My thoughts were cut off as he ran to me. His technique was sloppy.
I hit a couple pressure points to make him weaker, and I basically threw him to the ground.
I pinned him down with foot, and then I lowered down and used my hands. "What the fuck is wrong with you." I said through my gritted teeth.
"I'm just tired. Get off me." He said. His voice was groggy and hoarse. I got up and glared at him.
I could tell he wasn't telling the truth. I decided to wait for him to tell me on his own time. I'm not gonna get anywhere if I keep asking.
He quickly walked out of the room when the bell rang. I sighed and left. I changed back into my outfit and went to history.
Instead of answering all the questions like a smartass, Blake kept quiet.
I was starting to get worried. What if something's going on?
I had to hold myself back from asking him again. I don't even know why I care so much. He's just a member of my team.
Pretty much an unavoidable irritation.
I walked out of the class and headed to musical theatre. I couldn't focus. Everything possible was on my mind. Tidal wave's goon stabbing me, the mind control device, the villain league, Sabrina's non existent powers, and Blake.
