I was walking down the hallways. The environment changed after yesterday. Sabrina was no longer terrifying the students, but rather, only talking to her assistant.
Well, more of a friend.
Cora Lyal. She's always stayed by Sabrina's side, no matter what she did. I think Sabrina takes advantage of that. Cora is a great friend, a great person, but that alone doesn't rub off on Sabrina.
That's where Lucas comes in. I would have never expected him to like her. He only liked good people. But when he said he saw something in her, I didn't believe him.
She's treated me terribly. I couldn't stop and think about her being a good person. It repulsed me.
When I saw Lucas flirting with Sabrina at the party, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. She was known for breaking hearts. I didn't want him to feel broken.
And then she smiled. A real, genuine smile. That I've never seen before. There's a difference between a bully smiling at their prey, and a bully that is genuinely happy.
After that, Sabrina got soft. She stopped harassing people to an extent, and stopped flirting with every guy she saw. She even started treating Cora with respect.
I like to think that Lucas is changing her. I mean, the events of last night must have taken a toll on her understanding of the world.
If she were alone, she would be tormenting people. Taking her anger, out on others.
But now that she understands she has Lucas and Cora there for her, maybe she can change for the better.
Thinking about this cheesy stuff gives me a headache.
I was on my phone in the quad, listening to music as I scrolled through my instagram feed. It was a nice Sunday morning, with low temperatures and beautiful skies.
I adjusted my hoodie and continued looking through my explore page.
"Hey Snow."
"Will you please stop sneaking up on me like that!" I yelled, completely startled.
"No." He smiled.
"What do you want." I said, taking out one headphone and looking back at my phone.
"Wanna go hang out with Dylan? He's back in town but I don't want to hang out with him alone."
"Moody guy? I'll pass." I rolled my eyes, thinking back to when he helped me.
More like instructed me.
"Also, I thought he used to be your best friend?" I said, confused to say the least.
"Well yeah, but he can get annoying. And bland. Even for me." He groaned.
"Wow that's saying something." I widened my eyes and he nodded.
"Fine. But you owe me." I smirked. He crossed his arms and sighed.
"We;re going to the mall. I can buy you something there if you want." He said, an annoyed tone in his voice.
"Deal." I said.
I stood up and Blake walked me to my dorm. We walked in and he sat on my bed, laying down.
I went to my closet, grabbed a tennis skirt and a sweatshirt, and went to the bathroom to change.
I put the outfit on and quickly brushed through my hair, putting it into a loose ponytail.
I walked out and Blake stood up. I waited for him to say something, but he just, stared.
I left the dorm and he followed close behind.
