The boys enter the recording studio to get ready to record "Can You Stand The Rain". Ralph soon shows up while Johnny is introduced into the group but little does he know, Johnny is actually joining the group.
Mike- " What's good Rizz?"
Ralph - " Yo, what's going on? Why is he here."
Jimmy Jam- " Wait..you guys didn't tell him Johnny was in the group?"
Ralph- " The hell you mean Johnny's in the group? Since when?"
Mike- " Since now. Label already signed off."
Johnny- "Listen, listen man I don't know what's going on but nobody told me you didn't know."
Ralph- " Not only did I not know, nobody even asked me for my opinion."
Ronnie- " Oh, I was gonna call you Rizz but I had that modeling gig. You know expanding my horizons, what have you."
Ralph- " Oh word?"
Ricky- " Word. What you expect Rizz? You said you wanted to go solo, right?"
Ralph- "That don't mean I'm quitting the group man. Damn."
Jimmy Jam- " Alright, alright. everybody just calm down."
Ralph- "Nah, later with that calm down shit. I'm not splitting my money 5 ways again. So unless Bobby's coming back, the 4 of us are New Edition. Period.
Mike - " He be alright. This your part right here, you can sing that right?"
Johnny- "Man."
Mike- " What y'all looking at me for? Now he know we not depending on his ass, B. Let's work, fix y'all faces man."
Johnny is now singing his part to Boys To Men in the booth as the producer, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Ralph sit outside. The boys are left by themselves to discuss and settle some differences. Johnny and Ralph begin to talk about how they were told about the same deal with Jheryl. The scene cuts to all of the guys recording Can You Stand The Rain.
