Logan's POV-That Afternoon
Amber had been filled in on the whole...situation. Needless to say, she didn't like it. "I don't like this one bit. I am going to ruin your day at some point. I hope I can do that as Denny. Oh, I can't wait." She spat at Ciel. The demon Earl wasn't fazed. "You can try to end me later. For now, we need a plan." Briar raised an eyebrow. "I thought the plan was to awaken Tara?" "But we must make sure she doesn't die." Serena pointed out, looking around the purplish room. "For that, we need Daniel."
"Who is in K'un L'un." I added. It was a pretty crucial fact. "How are we supposed to get into a pocket dimension?!" Amber exclaimed, nonchalantly glaring at Ciel. Tara appeared beside me. "I can teach Logan a teleportation spell. It should be simple enough." Ciel nodded toward the crossbreed. One thing I should explain before we continue.
We were in a "Telepathic Room", which isn't really a room. In it, everyone I let in it can see and hear Tara, but no one outside can see or hear our conversation. It's pretty nifty.
Anywho, Sebastian glanced over at Amber. "Perhaps you should learn how to defend yourself." Amber's face lit up. "Does that mean I can use guns?!" The four demons, and Tara, looked at each other. "It would keep her away from any actual danger..." Tara said with a shrug. Ciel sighed. "Very well. Latara," He looked at the crossbreed girl. "how long will it take for you to teach Logan the spell?" "Not long. Week max....probably." She glanced around nervously. "But...we'll also need some sort of Mystic Hot Spot..." She trailed off.
"I'll try and find one-" "You can't." I interrupted Briar. "There aren't any hot spots here. Not in this universe." Ciel looked at me, then back at Tara. "Could this portal travel through worlds?" "Indeed it could. Logan and I can take us to Earth-616, but we'd need to travel to the hot spots manually. The Mystic Energy could screw up the teleportation." The demon Earl nodded in understatement. "Question: what if, even with the hot spot's energy, you can't open a portal to K'un L'un?" Amber asked. "Then we head up to the Himalayas. I have connections there." Tara answered, looking at my BFF.
"People in the Himalayan Mountains?" Serena inquired. I blinked. "Wait...so you're saying that four demons and a crossbreed are going to seek help from Tibetan Monks?!" I almost yelled at Tara. She looked at me with a bright smile. "Yyyep!" Serena sighed. "Why monks?" "'Cause they're the only people I know who can help." "What about your uncle?" Sebastian asked, and Tara shook her head in reply. "I don't know where he is anymore. He moved the location of the Sanctum after the SRA was re-enacted." I sighed inaudibly. Great...
"What is the"SRA"?" Sebastian asked. "The Super Human Registration Act. It's basically a law that requires any super human to registrate with the government. If they don't, they'll be arrested." I explained, and Ciel sighed, closing his eye. "That will make this difficult." "Not entirely." Tara pipped up.
"It only effects American super humans. You guys are British, so SHIELD has no authority to arrest you." She said with yet another bright smile. I never realized how bipolar she is..."What about you two?" Amber asked. Tara and I glanced at each other. Aaaand, cue light bulb!
"They can't arrest us!" Tara exclaimed, standing up. "Why not?" Virtually everyone else in the room asked. Even me. "Because, I'm a British citizen!" I blinked. "Uh...you aren't tied to England in any way." She glanced at me, smirking. "Actually, my grandmother was English." "Still, you couldn't become a British citizen."
"Unless someone of high authority requested it." Ciel said with a smirk. "Exactly! And, technically, I was in England when the SRA was re-instated!" There was small celebration...which was ruined when Sebastian spoke up.
"What shall we do if someone asks for proof? This happened over a century ago. Not only that, but the young master had ordered me to erase any documentation on you." Tara stopped celebrating and glared at the raven demon. "You just love ruining my fun, don't you?" She deadpanned, to which to demon butler merely smirked. Amber cleared her throat, causing all of us to look at her.
"You could forge something, couldn't you?" Amber asked, looking at Tara. "Well, yeah, but I'd need a seal..." She turned toward Ciel, or more accurately, his rings. "...like, say, the Earl of Phantomhive's." Tara smirked, glancing around the room.
"Well, then, I believe the matter is settled. We will depart in a week." "Okie dokie, Earl of Big Words!" Tara said cheerfully, much to Ciel's unamusement, and I just smiled. She isn't that bad...I guess.
