~~~Chapter 14~~~
***Connor's POV***
I had to find Belinda...but how the hell do I get passed this crowd of girls?
I hate when this happens, I thought angrily.
"Sorry girls, I've got to find my girlfriend...so can you guys please move?" I asked as nicely as I could, pushing passed them.
They looked unhappy and dispersed. Works everytime
Belinda, my girlfriend. I had to make something up but it sounded good to me. Really good.
I walked around, looking for her. She wasn't anywhere in sight. I was about to go check her cabin room when I saw her behind a guy.
Her expression was scared, her eyes wide open. The guy had his face at her neck.
My blood began to boil. I was angry. More then angry; I was fucking furious. What the fuck was he doing? Who did he think he was?
But then I remembered. The vampire. I was by her side in less then a millisecond and shoved his smug looking asshole face off of her throat.
When he saw me, he looked a little terrified but tried not to show it.
"The guy from before," he smirked. I wanted to just punch him so hard in the face until he fell unconsious.
I grabbed his top and threw him against the wall. "Listen up shithead, I would kill you right now if it weren't for the people around. You freaking ever and I mean ever touch her again and you're actually dead; people around or not."
Belinda, in the corner, looked like she were going to pass out. Her eyes were unfocused and droopy. That's what happens when a vampire bites a human. It made me even more angry and I shoved him into the wall even harder where the wall threatened to break behind him.
He was obviously struggling to get out of my hold, but I was so much stronger then him so he eventually gave up.
He nodded, "fine."
I let him go and elbowed him in the stomach, just to show him not to mess with her.
He rolled over on the ground and I grabbed Belinda very lightly. We had just walked out of the lounge when she passed out, right into my arms.
***Belinda's POV***
I opened my droopy eyes. They felt so heavy as if sticky tape were holding them down.
"Belinda?" A voice called out beside me, softly stroking my hair back.
"Hi," my voice was very croaky and husky. I sounded like a demented frog.
Wait, what was I doing here? I shot up quickly, eyes wide open. It was a cabin room...oh right, I was on a boat to somewhere. What else had happened?
...
I couldn't remember. How did I get here? Why was I in bed? I looked over to my side where Connor sat on a chair.
"How did I get here?" I asked him, completely and utterly confused. "I don't remember."
"Don't worry about that at the moment. Just get some rest and I'll explain later," Connor pushed me lightly and I fell back onto the bed.
"Whose room am I in?" I asked worriedly.
"Mine and Nate's. Nate just went out for lunch."
Lunch?!?
"We're going to the beach later if you want to tan or swim. Or whatever. You'll be fine by then," he said smoothly.
