Chapter 32: Personal Space

Ludmila then came and the girls and I walked to my house as it was the end of the school day. Camila and Francesca were in my room whilst Ludmila and I went to the kitchen to get some juice and snacks.

Ludmila: Let's go before Olga comes and shouts at us for getting this ready without her. You know how she gets when we do things in the kitchen without her permission.

Violetta: You're right. I got the juice, you get the brownies over there.

As Ludmila put some brownies on plate, Olga showed up.

Olga: What do you girls think you are doing?

Ludmila: We're sorry Olga, we just wanted to take some brownies upstairs.

Olga: Is your boyfriend here Vilu? Leon better not be in your room.

Violetta: No he's not here, but why can't Leon be in my room?

Olga: Don't get me wrong, I love that handsome and sweet young boy, but I will not allow that boy to be alone in your room.

Violetta: Olga, he is my boyfriend and how is it fair that Ludmila can be alone with Fede in her room.

Ludmila: Hey! Don't involve Fede and I in this discussion!

Violetta: Federico lives here, and he is allowed in your room any time! How come when Leon comes over we can't be alone together?

Olga: Federico and Ludmila know what 'personal space' is. You and Leon, however, don't know the meaning of that phrase at all.

I looked at Olga and then at Ludmila in astonishment.

Ludmila: I agree with Olga, you can't get yourself out of that one.

Violetta: I'm going to take this upstairs now, the juice is getting cold.

Ludmila's (POV)
Violetta couldn't believe what Olga had said and couldn't believe that I agreed with Olga, so she tried her best to get out of the situation, but she said something that didn't make any sense.

Ludmila: But juice is supposed to be cold!

She went upstairs with the tray and I took the brownies and followed.

Francesca: What took you two so long?

Violetta: Olga was lecturing me about boys, well actually about Leon.

Ludmila: Why don't you ask them, since you don't believe Olga and I.

Camila: Ask us what?

Violetta: Are Leon and I always together, like close to one another? Like romantically, well not inappropriately, but...

Ludmila: As Ramallo says it, do they keep personal space between each other when they're together?

Camila, Francesca: Oh. Nope.

Violetta's (POV)
Violetta: Okay why don't we change the subject.

Camila: It's not necessarily a bad thing. You two are just so in love and are happy. You can't get enough of each other.

Francesca: Oh! That reminds me... Vilu, I was walking to the studio this morning with Diego, when I overheard Felipe saying really cute things to Maxi about you and asking questions.

Violetta: What did he say? Actually you know what, I don't care because I'm with Leon, and I'm happy.

Ludmila: Totally, that was very convincing.

Camila: You know Vilu, I would also be curious to know what my ex was saying about me to one of my best friends. There's nothing wrong with it at all.
