They've caused so much stress
abusive family members
supposed friends
people i trusted
and who've only let me down
making me think negatively about my life
that it'll all be better
if something happened
to separate me from them
But who helped me
was myself
and he who left
ages ago
yet made an impact
far greater than himself
And one day i hope he becomes aware
of that power within him
that saved my life then
and continues every day since.
